It’s official: holiday season is nearly upon us, and we’ve got news on one of the most stunning collections to usher in the festivities. With flecks of gold and exquisite imprints of the Maison Dior at 30 Avenue Montaigne etched on lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes alike, Dior’s dreamy “The Atelier of Dreams” collection is something you’ll want to add to your vanity tables as soon as you can — and you can too, since it’s pre-launching exclusively at the new Dior Beauty Online Boutique today.
This year, Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Make-Up, pays tribute to the iconic boutique by welcoming its historical facade across a makeup collection that’s meant to jazz up your everyday looks. Many of these items are signature ones we’ve come to expect, though with the motif of the architectural boutique delicately recreated on their surfaces.
Two 5 Couleurs Couture Palettes feature here, in either an ‘Atelier Doré’ of satin beiges, copper and warm gold, or ‘House of Dreams’, a cool smokey palette that explores dusty pink and taupe around a shimmering silver. The Diorshow 24H Stylo eyeliners complete the eye look with glittering shades of brown or taupe.
The Rouge Dior lipsticks are, of course, a standout, and this time, it’s the case that’s decorated with the facade of the Parisian boutique, while the bullet bears the legendary “Christian Dior” monogram — a velvet shade in 999 definitely captures the glamorous vibes. Just as well, the Diorific lipsticks, shaped in the figure of 8 as an ode to Monsieur Dior’s lucky number, come in rich new shades, each featuring a collector-worthy engraved bullet that you’ll want to admire up close.
