We’re seeing red — the colours of Chinese New Year that is — thanks to this bumper crop of auspicious angbaos that have landed on our desks this year. From subtle and chic, to loud and bold to reflect the courageous sentiment that is the Year of the Tiger, we round up the most swoon-worthy red packets for your viewing pleasure.

GUCCI — You'll find this print all across the luxury brand’s Gucci Tiger collection. On the box and subtly done on the interior of each red packet is a new pastel interpretation of a late 1960s archival design by Vittorio Accornero, which sees the beautiful tiger set against a backdrop of greenery and flowers.

Called ‘Tiger with Wings’, the graphic conveys “the soaring spirit of the tiger’s bravery and intelligence”, seen via the addition of a unique set of wings and plenty of traditional Chinese elements all around.
