New year, old collaboration partners — except this one’s bound to be a highly-sought after collection. The tie-up with Italian luxury brand Prada, and adidas, one of the world’s leading sportswear brand, is set to continue with the launch of four new sneakers, that present new takes on the Forum silhouette.
Coming in hot after the previous Superstar and Luna Rossa 21 drops, we’re now seeing monochromatic versions of the adidas Forum in both Hi and Low styles, marked by detachable nylon zipped pouches attached to either the side of the high-tops or at the front of the basketball shoes — a nod to the luxury brand’s signature nylon bag collection.
Made from leather, synthetic and nylon materials, we’re getting a “Triple Black” or all-white “Triple White” colourways, kept minimalist to pair with the metallic silver zippers and the Prada triangle logo on the pouches. The shoes are further branded with ‘Prada Milano’ embossed on the tongue, and a raised adidas logo on the rubber midsole.

Forum Sneakers, $1,350 and $1,750.
UPDATE: As it turns out, the shoes are not just an independent drop, but part of an extensive adidas for Prada Re-Nylon collection that includes bags, bucket hats, track jackets, and more. The great thing is here is that everything is made from Re-Nylon, an eco-friendly fabric made from recycled plastic waste, while we’re loving how both Prada’s triangle logo and adidas’ classic three stripes are all over the pieces.
The collection will be available from January 13, 2022, at Prada stores and online at prada.com and adidas.com/prada. Take a look at some of the items here:
