Take just one look at this collection and it’s hard not to smile; Jakarta-based artist Martcellia Liunic sees her whimsical illustrations on children’s clothing, trainers and accessories from H&M. These doodles include creatures, plants, flowers and shapes, and in energetic colours and bold prints.
The pieces are also made using print techniques that have a lower environmental impact, such as digital printing, which consumes less water, less energy and less chemicals than traditional printing. Each piece is crafted from at least 50% sustainably sourced materials, while some of the trainers in the collection are made with Bananatex ®, an innovative fabric made purely from banana plants. Check everything out below.
Available from 17 March, the Liunic x H&M designs will be in selected stores as well as on HM.COM.
