We’re all the same when it comes to our smart devices — we always want the latest and most cutting-edge tech that takes care of everything for us. From our daily communication to ensuring we keep on top of our overall health and well-being, we want our smart devices to do most of the work for us.
As part of their launch into the next generation of smart and healthy living products, Huawei has unveiled six flagship products that will be joining their line-up of devices. This includes 5 different types of smart wearables such as the Huawei Watch GT3 Pro and all-new Huawei Watch D and Huawei S-Tag, as well as their next new foldable smartphone — the Huawei Mate Xs 2.
Here’s a closer look at the upcoming Huawei line-up.
HUAWEI MATE XS 2
.
Starting another new chapter in their foldable smartphone series is Huawei’s brand-new flagship Huawei Mate Xs 2. Weighing in at just 255g with a 5.4mm thinness, the smartphone uses the first 3D Fibreglass Design which fuses the aesthetic colours and textures. Similar to its predecessor, the Huawei Mate Xs 2 features a Falcon Wing Design that allows the movement of the hinge and screen to be precisely synchronised so you don’t have to worry about mishaps happening when you fold the phone.
Placing importance on usability for this new model, the Huawei Mate Xs 2 is equipped with a 7.8-inch True-Chroma foldable display to deliver high-resolution content, and an Anti-Reflective Nano Optical layer to help reduce glare while you multitask with seamless control using the Floating Window Swipe Gestures. The phone also comes with a Silicon-Based Anode battery which allows for a 66W Huawei SuperCharge that gives you a 90% charge within 30 minutes — a real nifty function for those who are constantly on the move!
HUAWEI WATCH GT3 PRO
Now available in Titanium and Ceramic editions, the Huawei Watch GT3 Pro is the latest flagship smartwatch that will make it easy for you to support an active lifestyle. Built with a 1.43-inch AMOLED high-definition colour display, you can expect clear and precise information on-screen that is paired with ECG analysis, arterial stiffness detection, and TruSeen 5.0+ data monitoring technology, which allows you to keep track of your heart health measurement and monitor your blood oxygen levels.
The smartwatch also comes with access to over 100 workout modes paired alongside an AI running coach, and a built-in dual-band five-system GNSS that features five satellite systems to give you the best GPS positioning capabilities so you won’t get lost on your run!
HUAWEI BAND 7
Providing professional functions to stay on top of your health and fitness, the Huawei Band 7 is the brand’s thinnest fitness tracker (at less than 10mm in thickness), that is not only lightweight but also equipped with an AMOLED display that almost looks like a very mini form of smartphone on your wrist.
The fitness tracker features the ability to customise the display but also comes with Huawei’s new running measurement system, the Running Ability Index (RAI), which evaluates your running ability and provides updates on your progress in real-time. It is equipped with Huawei TruSeen 4.0 data monitoring technology as well, to keep track of your heart rate while you exercise.
HUAWEI WATCH FIT 2
Style meets functionality with the Huawei Watch Fit 2 which is equipped with a 1.74-inch AMOLED HD Huawei FullView display and a new chessboard launcher design that gives you a more interactive experience using the Tap to Transfer feature where you can easily transfer files with just a tap.
To accompany the 97 workout modes, you can now use the Huawei Watch Fit 2 to play your music while you work out. Equipped with a speaker, the watch is able to play music directly using the offline music playback function while also managing music playback through mobile apps. You can even take (or reject) calls easily by pushing calls from your smartphone to your smartwatch via Bluetooth with just a tap. The watch also comes with access to Huawei Assistant to help gather information whenever you need them.
HUAWEI WATCH D
The Huawei Watch D is the Chinese tech giant’s first-ever wrist-type blood pressure monitoring device that provides blood pressure measurement wherever you are. At almost one-sixth the size and weight of a traditional blood pressure meter, the Huawei Watch D uses an innovative mini pump with the capacity to reach a pressure of h40kPa that measures the blood pressure of up to 230mmHg — equivalent to the range of traditional blood pressure meters.
But, apart from being a blood pressure sensor, the Huawei Watch D functions as a smartwatch as well, supporting the measurement of heart rate, and blood pressure, and the monitoring of heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, and stress. It also supports more than 70 workout modes with a long battery life of up to 7 days.
HUAWEI S-TAG
Understand your workout status and improve your running efficiency with the Huawei S-Tag. Built with a lightweight and mobile design, the tag is perfect for runners with its 9-axis high-precision sensors that can monitor your running posture based on your foot and waist motion data; which is measured using 13 types of running posture data.
The Huawei S-Tag also supports basic cycling metrics such as cadence, speed, and distance, and can be easily paired with the Huawei Health App and dedicated smart watches via Bluetooth.
