This year’s Pink Dot event is just around the corner, on 18 June to be exact, and in support of the Pride celebration, social marketing agency is back with a series of limited edition merchandise that honours our local LGBTQ+ community. This year, they’re all about even more inclusivity and intersectionality — the “Love All Shades” campaign aims to support minority races within the community, and calls us to celebrate our unique differences.
“Diversity and inclusivity run deep in our veins in GOODSTUPH. 22% of us are LGBTQ+ and 32% of us are of minority races. In addition to our continual support for Pink Dot, we feel it’s important for us to address the discrimination minority races sometimes face, within the LGBTQ+ community itself. We are part of the problem, but there comes the opportunity to be part of the solution,” says Pat Law, founder of GOODSTUPH.
The merchandise sees the tagline “Love All Shades” across a t-shirt and a set of stickers designed by creative Stella Seetoh, with an illustrated graphic featuring people of various skin tones. Several other stickers also sport the phrases “Brown & Proud” and “Brown Is Beautiful”, in a bid to celebrate and empower the experiences of minorities with a “message of love and acceptance”.
The GOODSTUPH t-shirt and stickers are currently on sale here. Order before 18 June, and you may receive a complimentary pack of stickers, while stocks last. Importantly, all profits will be donated to Pink Dot SG as well.
