For Summer 2023, Chanel introduces new colours for their sunglasses and optical frames alongside their classic black and tortoiseshell designs. On their rectangular acetate frame with a distinctly 90s feel, there’s transparent vanilla, peach and pink, with the temples adorned with an oversized double C in metal. On a square frame, the tortoiseshell motif is reinterpreted in a khaki hue, and illuminated by a double C set with strass. There’s also a new folding frame in black nylon fibre with quilted temples; it hides a double C at its centre, and a strassed braid on the inside of each temple, visible only when the glasses are folded. As for the timeless collection, it’s been enriched with more new shapes and colours, including a square optical frame in black and in transparent pink. Check out the designs below.
