Anthony Vaccarello has been doing something right. For the past year, almost every new Saint Laurent bag design he released has been an instant classic. There’s the Solferino (approx. $4,167) shoulder bag in the gorgeous cream leather with black trim, the minimalistic Manhattan ($3,560) that screams quiet luxury (yes, it’s an oxymoron), the Joe backpack (approx. $3,766) in an incredible dark green shade, the super chic Gaby quilted leather bag that can be dressed up or down, the June (approx. $2,985) boxy style that gives off vintage camera bag feels, and if you really want to go retro and grandma-style, there’s the Le Monogramme Cœur velvet and suede shoulder bag (approx. $1,856).
The newest design to join our list of must-haves, is the Le37 bucket bag that’s released for Summer 23, and comes in a semi-rigid cylindrical construction with YSL’s iconic Cassandre signature closure using the “L” as a clap. There’s a convenient top-handle, and the all-necessary leather shoulder strap that can be adjusted in length, or even detached if you just want to carry this as a handheld tote. Inside, there’s a zippered fly pocket with the “SAINT LAURENT PARIS” signature stamped in gold foil and an internal lining in black suede.
You can find the new le37 bucket bag in Saint Laurent stores in Singapore, and online at the brand’s official website at ysl.com priced at $4,240.
