Organised in collaboration with Studio Ghibli, this exhibition will mark the Japanese studio’s first showcase in Singapore that will run from 4 October 2024 to 2 February 2025. The World of Studio Ghibli was first presented in Japan in 2013 with its most recent presentation in Bangkok, Thailand.

The World of Studio Ghibli will be one of the ArtScience Museum’s biggest transformations to date, spanning 2,400 square-metres across 11 galleries of well-loved films such as My Neighbour Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, as well as the Studio’s latest film, The Boy and the Heron.

These 11 galleries will also include 16 large-scale theatrical sets depicting iconic scenes like Totoro waiting in the rain at the bus stop with Mei and Satsuki, Howl’s Moving Castle in the valley, and our favourite — the train scene with No-Face from Spirited Away.

There will also be a retail shop at the end of the exhibition where you can stock up on official Studio Ghibli merchandise and souvenirs that have been designed exclusively for the exhibition at ArtScience Museum.

Tickets will go on sale from 3 August, 10am through Klook and all Marina Bay Sands box offices. Sands Lifestyle Members will get access to an exclusive pre-sale from 29 July to 2 August.
