Curated by Culture Cartel, Street Style Speedway is set to unite Asia’s top brands, designers, creative talents, and personalities across fashion, art, and music in a vibrant celebration of street culture that is inspired by the Formula One Night Race.
From 13 to 22 September, CQ @ Clarke Quay and Culture Cartel has collaborated to present Streetstyle Speedway to get your adrenaline pumping with exciting activities that include a Limited Edt x Culture Cartel Pop-Up Store, drone displays, race week promotions, and a car-art showcase.
Here’s a closer look at what you can expect.
cArt Installations with Local Artists
If you’re looking to soak up the F1 atmosphere and just happen to be a sports car enthusiast too, you might want to set aside some time to take in the creative sights of the cArt installations at the Fountain Square.
Local artists Alvin Phunk and SuperCyberTown have come together to add their own flair to the spirit of the night race with a captivating showcase of blending art and cars together.
In the day, check out how renowned local artist-designer Alvin Phunk, co-founder of Singapore-based art collective Phunk, transforms a sleek Mercedes CLA 45S 4MATIC+ Coupe into his rolling canvas which will showcase his signature dynamic designs.
Then, as the sun goes down, watch how the car is turned into another work of art as it blends art and technology through a series of projection mappings created by Southeast Asian visual effects artist and music producer Race Krehel, who is also known as ‘SuperCyberTown’.

What’s an F1-inspired event without some cool F1-themed merch?

Light Installations on Read Bridge

To add to the installation, you can also enjoy a special light show at 8.30pm and 9.30pm and watch as the lights dance to music curated by the artist himself!
Drone Light Show
If you’re looking for more night activities to enjoy, remember to mark your calendars for 19 September, 8.30pm, where you’ll get to experience an exclusive, one-night-only race-themed aerial Drone Show!
This will be a unique celebration of the world of motorsports set against a backdrop of race simulating light installations which are synchronised to pulsating beats from live entertainment.
