The Frankie Shop debuts limited-edition fashion collaboration with Mattel’s Barbie

In conjunction with Barbie’s 65th anniversary this year, fashion label The Frankie Shop has collaborated with Mattel’s iconic Barbie brand to unveil a limited-edition collection named “One Of A Kind” to celebrate empowerment, individuality, and self-expression.

The collection looks at representing the ethos of The Frankie Shop through the lens of Barbie featuring reimagined designs of some of the label’s most recognisable pieces for Barbie, which include the boxy Boyfriend blazer, the Eva muscle-padded tee, and the best-selling Hayla jeans.

Exclusive styles will also be introduced with touches of pink and chevron as a nod to the classic iconography of Barbie alongside The Frankie Shop’s signature tailored, sharp, and oversized looks.

The exclusive collection has since made its debut during Paris Fashion Week on 24 September in a specially curated pop-up space adjacent to The Frankie Shop’s women’s store in Paris. The immersive retail experience features a dedicated space that include a life-sized Barbie box, exclusive goodies, and an on-site illustrator who creates personalised Barbie portraits.

As part of the experience, the collection will be showcased on three one-of-a-kind Barbie dolls with striking unique looks such as Barbie’s pepper-coloured hair and curls for Ken.
