Rooted in house heritage, Bottega Veneta has introduced its first fragrance collection under the Creative Direction of Matthieu Blazy that is inspired by the brand’s origin city of Venice, as well as the house’s signature leather weave, the Intrecciato.
Each of the collection’s five fragrances have been designed as a meeting of ingredients from different countries and continents, weaving 100% natural origin essences from different corners of the globe.
Colpo di Sole is a scent as warm as the Mediterranean sun that marries the tranquil notes of French Angelica oil with sensual orange blossom absolute from Morocco. For a fresh and elegant scent, Come with Me blends the invigorating citrus of Italian bergamot with the powdery violet of French orris butter.
To evoke the enveloping scent of saltwater on your skin, Acqua Sale is a scent that merges woody labdanum absolute from Spain with Macedonian juniper oil. If you are looking for a more sophisticated and seductive scent, Déjà Minuit weaves geranium from Madagascar with the spice of Guatemalan cardamom while Alchemie combines Brazilian pink pepper with precious myrrh from Somalia for exhilarating opulence.
The new fragrance collection also sees an elevated level to the bottle’s design. Fluid and undulating, the translucent glass bottle pays homage to the lagoon environment of Venice while the supple leather shapes the first distinguished Bottega Veneta design.

Its design recreates the aesthetic of mouth-blown glass with distinct air bubbles to each bottle which pays tribute to the centuries-long tradition of Murano glassblowing; creating a series of individually unique bottles.
The bottle also has a sculptural wooden cap that is reminiscent of the foundation of Venetian palazzos and has a distinct colour of shade for each fragrance, taking its cue from modern Venetian design and architecture.

Each bottle comes with a base in green Verde Saint Denis marble too; the very same that has characterised the house’s store designs and evokes the marble walls, flooring, and facades of Venetian architecture.
Intended as an elevated object for life, you will find that each bottle is not only refillable but includes 0% plastic and sustainable materials in every component of the design.
