With so many new sneaker releases, we as consumers are definitely spoilt for choice. It can be tough going through each brand and each sneaker release one by one to find that perfect pair for your needs, so here are some of the recent sneaker releases we thought you might be interested in to save you all that hassle.
adidas
Classic and iconic styles have been reimagined by Missoni, David Glover, A Bathing Ape (BAPE) and Neighborhood (NBHD). Missoni’s trademark space-dyeing technique for example, has been applied to the Ultraboost, giving the pair a flame pattern Missoni is renowned for. The sportswear brand has also added new colourways for its Nite Jogger, making this iconic ’70s silhouette an aesthetic pair that won’t be missed at night with its reflective details. And for Yeezy fans, this one’s for you — the Yeezy Boost 700 Analog has a full-length drop in the Boost midsole, a suede upper and cream premium leather with mesh underlays for a neutral colourway. With technical innovations like the Soft Cell™ heel cushioning and Torsion system, the ZX series has been at the forefront of athletic footwear design. The new ZX 4000 4D combines this cutting-edge technology with a black/grey colourway inspired by the cold temperature spectrum in the Kelvin scale, as the pair is manufactured in the most automated shoe factory in the world, with virtually no use of light, heat or human manpower.
The collaboration with artiste Donald Glover is one to look out for amongst the sea of collaborations. He’s mentioned how “value isn’t quantified by what you wear, rather the experiences from them”, and this can be clearly seen in the rugged look of the sneaker designs through details like uneven stiching and inside-out golden eyestays. The edges of the canvas are also not stiched down, so each pair will fray differently according to how you wear the shoes!

New Balance
The brand’s popular 997 model gets a new update with the men’s 997 Sport, which has an all-new bootie construction for ultimate comfort. Nike
The Nike Free range replicates the barefoot as closely as possible to give runners more foot flexibility, better balance and improved strength and now, things have just gotten better with the new Nike Free Running Collection! Nike has made new design elements to give even greater comfort and barefoot-like feel than previous designs — the Nike Free RN 5.0 is 26% more flexible and 2mm lower to the ground, while the Nike Free RN Flyknit 3.0 is 1mm lower to the ground than 2018 models.

Onitsuka Tiger
Onitsuka Tiger’s brand new shoe model, Tiger Horizonia, combines the brand’s trail running shoe design with a trendy, chunky silhouette. Its outer sole incorporates elements of trail running shoes for running on unpaved surfaces, the fuzeGEL midsole heel improves lightness and shock absorbency, while the ORTHOLITE inner sole provides better fit and comfort. The brand has also collaborated with creative and talented siblings Kanta and Kaede, reimagining the brand’s iconic Mexico 66 with hand-drawn patterns of Kanta’s intricate illustrations and Kaede’s paper cut-outs based on children’s stories.

PUMA
The brand has brought back classics like the ROMA 68 OG and Ralph Sampson OG. The former was originally launched to celebrate Italy’s historic Euro Cu victory in 1968, while the latter is a reissue of the iconic ’80s court silhouette. PUMA has also collaborated with the likes of Barbie, HAN Kjøbenhavn and Motorola to bring us interesting iterations of their popular shoe models like Nova and RS-X, injecting a breath of fresh air. We especially love the pastel hues on the Nova x Barbie pair. If you recall, PUMA has collaborated with Barbie before, releasing sneakers in black and pink. This time, the sneakers released have pretty pastel hues! Besides classic styles and collaborations, PUMA has also introduced the LQD CELL Origin which combines performance technology with streetwear design, allowing you to stride in these steadily and comfortably.

Vans
Vans’ global skate team rider Lizzie Armanto has a new collection with Vans, with lavender being the central colour. As Armanto became enamoured with the Maneki Neko (a traditional Japanese cat symbolising good luck) when travelling in Asia, she has incorporated it onto the sole of the Vans Slip-On Pro, adding that extra detail. The pair also features premium canvas and suede uppers, as well as innovative performance features for cushioning, comfort, durability and fit. Comfortable and stylish for everyday wear!
