Fjällräven Just Released 2 New Backpacks For Spring 2016

If you’re one of the guilty thousands who own a Kånken (pronounced kon-ken, by the way), you’ll be thrilled to know that Swedish brand Fjällräven has released two brand new designs for their Spring/Summer 2016 Collection – just in time for your summer backpacking trip!
No one does daypacks quite like Fjällräven – tastefully combining comfort, carrying capacity, durability, and style, the versatility of the backpacks can take you from hiking in the great outdoors to everyday wear, right here at home. And we’re excited to say that the new Räven and High Coast stay true to that.

Räven is your everyday backpack but better, designed with comfortable padded shoulder straps and made from recycled polyester and organic cotton. Our favourite part – it comes with a separate padded pocket for laptop computers up to 17 inches wide, making it perfect for school. Overall the detailing is minimal, save for the brand’s characteristic arctic fox patch on the side, but it comes in ten unique colours that make choosing one a hella fun process.

And if you’re in the market for something with a little more pizzazz, then the High Coast is just for you. It’s like the Kånken’s suave older brother, with the same familiar carrying handle at the top, but with an all-new drawcord and steel hook design to close the main compartment. What really makes this perfect for light trekking or travelling, though, is the handy detachable chest and waist strap, and the foam frame sheet – after which the bag can be entirely compressed and packed into its own front pocket. Insane.

We can’t wait to see what Fjällräven rolls out next, but for now, there’re these two very practical beauts to get us through the season.
