NDP 2020 Singapore Together Pack: What’s Inside and Where to Get Yours

With National Day just around the corner, the Singapore government has prepared a special Singapore Together Pack for each Singaporean and PR household to collect.

Mirrored after the idea of the iconic National Day Fun Pack, the Singapore Together Pack aims to offer households an opportunity to still enjoy the National Day celebrations from home while the typical celebrations take on a different format — with no spectators.

Inspired by the NDP 2020 theme, “Together, A Stronger Singapore”, the Singapore Together Pack features 20 different designs by aspiring artists with disabilities and Primary 5 students that are printed onto the front of the tote bag, which will be given at random upon collection.

Here’s a look at the designs.

As compared to the typical NDP fun packs from past years, the number of items have been reduced from its usual 20 to 25 to just 12, with focus on items that are useful in the current COVID-19 climate, and can help families join in the National Day Parade from home.

The curated list of items also helps to reduce waste as there will no longer be a need for single-use water bottles or noise-producing tools such as plastic clappers.

WHERE TO COLLECT YOUR SINGAPORE TOGETHER PACK?

The Singapore Together Pack can be collected at all Community Centres and Community Clubs (CC) from now to 2 August 2020, as well as at all Residents’ Committee (RC) Centres from now to 26 July 2020. All collection booths operate from 10am to 6pm daily except on Public Holidays.

Before collecting your pack, you must present your NRIC at the collection counter for verification. Do note that you will only be allowed to collect one Singapore Together Pack for one household.

If you are unsure where your nearest collection point is, you can visit sgtogetherpack.gowhere.gov.sg to find your nearest CC or RC Centres using your postal code.

WHERE CAN I DONATE MY SINGAPORE TOGETHER PACK IF I DON’T NEED IT?

If you do not need your Singapore Together Packs, you could consider donating and sharing a bit of joy with our migrant workers in Singapore. The not-for-profit organisation ItsRainingRaincoats is currently accepting donations and if you’re interested in donating your pack, you can reach out to Mei at 9189 4331.

Alternatively, you could also opt to return reusable items at the government-appointed re-collection points after 9 August. More details about this will be released here at a later date.
