First it was the Apple Watch Series 6, now it’s the Casio G-SHOCK; blue seems to be the colour of choice for watches this year, and this one is in a gorgeous camouflage pattern. The entire watch is made of titanium and finished with a diamond-like carbon coating to protect against scratches. On the front, the iconic square face is laser-engraved, while the camouflage design is created with dots for what the brand calls “a high impact look”. There’s a one-touch try-fold clasp closure, and the usual Bluetooth connectivity, LED light, calendar, and timekeeper that is synonymous with G-SHOCKs. At almost $2,000, this collectible isn’t going to come cheap, but somehow it’s still going to sell out.
The Casio G-SHOCK GMW-B5000TCF, $1,999 at all G-SHOCK Boutiques from 9th October 2020. LOcate stores HERE.
