The MICHELIN Guide Singapore 2016 Will Be Released Next Month

Restaurants in Singapore are finally being recognised for their quality food and stellar chefs. Singapore is proudly the first and only country in Southeast Asia to be included in the MICHELIN guide’s coverage; and on 21 July 2016, the selection will officially be revealed in the world’s first MICHELIN guide Award Ceremony cum Gala Dinner, held at Resorts World Sentosa.

Mingle with chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants and top winemakers around the world at the new Matter of Taste-Michelin Dinner

The prestigious award ceremony will be hosted by MICHELIN as well as Robert Parker Wine Advocate, and held in the presence of Michael Ellis, the International Director of the MICHELIN guides. This evening will definitely be an extravagant affair – what with the attendance of elite culinarians and an exceptional dinner prepared by Joel Robuchon and other award-winning local chefs. There will also be an exquisite selection of 12 specially selected wines from Family of Twelve, a fraternity of wineries from New Zealand.
Good news for you gastronomes out there – this will be the very first time the MICHELIN guide Award Ceremony is open to the public. Now you can have the opportunity to experience the glitz and glamour of it all. Aside from savouring a dinner prepared by a line-up of stellar chefs, you will also be able to get up close and personal with the chefs from the newly awarded Michelin-starred restaurants here in Singapore.

Tickets for the Gala Dinner can be purchased at SGD450++ per seat at guide.michelin.sg.
