Louis Vuitton's New Packaging Is In A Beautiful Shade Of Saffron

Louis Vuitton’s new packaging just got a lot more sophisticated and classy with a bright saffron shade, “Imperial Saffron “, that’s distinctive of the House’s rich history since a century and a half. This iconic shade that’s been woven into the stunning new package has been seen on several quintessential heritage pieces in the Louis Vuitton archives and similarly featured as the prominent colour of the brand’s exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris, “Volez Voguez Voyagez”.

It’s not surprising that this gorgeous shade has been widely associated with Louis Vuitton for years, and now, we’ll get to relieve the past with its new packaging that features Imperial Saffron as the main colour, adorned with the House’s significant blue ribbons, that’s been present for many decades. The two bright colours seamlessly complements, and we’re immediately reminded of the House’s “Art of Travel” – an original innovation by its founder, Louis Vuitton, who created a series of luggage, bags and accessories that were elegant and practical.
Besides its aesthetic, the material used for the new packaging draws inspiration from the leather used since 1860 by Louis Vuitton, while the new cotton ribbon handles and thicker paper provides greater resilience and durability, especially great for travelling as they can now be easily folded and kept.
We’d like to think that this is seriously a timely excuse to splurge on something quite unnecessary, yes, just for that beautiful packaging it comes in.
