Celebrate art and culture with the ninth edition of this iconic night festival, back this year with the theme of Invention and Innovation. We’re all excited for the luminous light installations, live music, performances and art displays that showcase Singapore’s rich local culture and talent. And the best part – there’ll be food available. The Hawker Food Alley will provide you with a tantalising spread of local hawker fare, so you’ll get a fair share of both local culture and food that night.

We’ll get to celebrate our adoration for the arts for the whole month, with the festival’s wide array of diverse theatre productions. This year, the festival celebrates the potentialities of individuals, as well as art itself. Independently  managed by Arts House Limited and helmed by theatre director Ong Keng Seng, this annual arts festival presents intriguing plays such as I Am LGB, a joint production between two innovative contemporary performance artists Loo Zihan and Ray Langenbach, as well as a witty satire Sandaime Richard, an imagined trial of the iconic playwright, William Shakespeare. Get ready for a myriad of mind-boggling and thought-provoking plays that will definitely give you new perspectives to think about.

Expressions Of A Hybrid

Don’t miss out on the last weekend to catch this exhibition! An interesting showcase inspired by the hybridism of the natural environment and the distinct characteristics of each animal species, we get a series of brilliant art work that expresses the artists’s concerns for the ecological environment. Through the art pieces, you’ll recognise the Singapore artist’s unique drawing style, imbued with vast imagination and creativity. With the fantastical reinventions of each of the animal’s features, Ieo Gek Ching reflects her appreciation for the beauty of nature and her intrigue for these magnificent creatures.

OCBC-NParks Ride Safe Programme Movie Night

Now this will get all adrenaline junkies on their toes. An evening of leisure cycling through the city’s largest park connectors, followed by an outdoor movie screening at East Coast Park’s Parkland Green. There’s really no better way to embrace nature and our inner fitness mojo than this. A word of advice for those who aren’t too keen on cycling; skip ahead to the movie screening which starts at 7.30pm.
