Darkness is about to fall at Universal Studios Japan.
As part of this year’s Halloween celebrations, Lord Voldemort’s diabolical Death Eaters will besiege the popular theme park’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter section from 14 September onwards, and over a period of 54 days, you can look forward to catching these dark entities roam the park grounds at night, and even watch them perform their unholy spells of horror!
That being said, there are also plenty of cheery activities for the family in the day, such as trick-or-treating at the park’s Magical Trick or Treat experience, where happy Hogsmeade villagers get to hand out candy to guests.
If you want something more substantial than just candy though, there’ll be a special Potter-themed “Hallowe’en Dessert Feast” that features desserts inspired by Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, like carrot cake and chocolate ganache. For those of you who want something more savoury, you can check out the “Great Feast”, and stuff yourself silly with goodies like pork ribs and pumpkin au gratin.
But no matter what you choose to do, there’s no denying that paying a visit to Universal Studios Japan this Halloween promises to be plenty of fun, and we can’t honestly can’t wait till it comes round!
The Death Eater Attack is taking place from 14 September to 6 November 2016 at Universal Studios Japan, Osaka. Visit their official website at www.usj.co.jp/e/.
