If You Love Beef, You'll Want To Check Out The Matsusaka Beef Fair

Holler at all our die-hard meat lovers out there: Japanese Food Town is hosting a Matsusaka Beef Fair from 1 – 11 September where you’ll be able to sample the notoriously succulent and tender cuts at 10 restaurants with a specially curated Matsusaka beef menu.

Our sincerest apologies to the ever-loyal Wagyu and Kobe, but we’ll be moving on to bigger and better things. We’re excited to try the top quality A4 grade beef from “Special Grade Matsusaka Cattle” which will be flown in directly from Japan for the upcoming fair, ensuring that we’ll be digging our forks into the freshest premium meat yet.

Just wait till you hear about the delectable line-up of menu items the participating restaurants have got in store for us. Inaniwa Yosuke will be serving up a warm hearty bowl of Matsusaka Beef Tsuke Men, which comes with chilled Inaniwa udon served with a hot savoury bowl of Matsusaka beef dipping sauce ($29.80). And if you’re like us, you’ll want to “go big” instead of go home with an all-you-can-eat-buffet Matsusaka beef style, at Shabu Shabu Tajimaya ($50.90).
