VB already gave us a taste of her brand of beauty with her collaboration with Nails Inc last year, but that was really a mere taste since it only included two nail colours; but now, we finally get to fully channel her minimal and often-copied beauty look for ourselves with the luxurious products in this collection.
We’re immediately drawn to the Highlighter in Modern Mercury (featured in the LA look), which is actually a relaunch of a previously limited edition Estée Lauder highlighter, since it’s a favourite of VB’s. Also, the Eye Kajal Duo in Black Saffron/Vanille, a double-ended eye pencil that features a classic black to be smudged around the eyes, and an eye-opening nude for the waterlines and inner corners of the eyes. And those eye colours, though – they’ll come in three different textures, one a gel-cream in black for seriously smokey eyes, two high-shine colours in a metallic finish, and the very exciting liquid Eye Foils that dry into a super-shiny vinyl finish.
The entire collection features textured black packaging accented with gold, really an accurate unity of both brands’ aesthetics.
