The reaction to last year’s OFFICE x Converse Holiday Nude Collection went out of control. In a good way, of course, for the nude pack was nothing short of ~blushingly~ beautiful. The variation of nudes, ranging from the ever popular rose-gold to a versatile sand-beige, won the hearts of many, many sneakerheads. We must say, we’ve never quite seen Converse this luxurious.
Riding on the same concept and raging popularity of tonal sneakers, the power duo has once again teamed up for yet another lust-worthy collection, this time drawing inspiration from the season, which gave birth to a brand new Chuck Taylor Office x Converse Spring Blossom Pack.
There is more of a colour variation in this collection, ranging from a true sakura pink, to a pastel lavender blue, and even a cool-toned khaki. Chucks have never failed us — they’re comfy, they’re durable and now in even prettier colour selection. Love at first sight is real guys, it’s real.
The same muted, slightly washed-out feel follows the series, with colours still remaining part of the pastel family. (We told you pastels were coming back, didn’t we?). Similar to the Holiday Nudes Collection, the sneakers will have rose-gold metal eyelets, and a single colour will cover the entire shoe, from upper to sole. What is different though, is that the heel stripe will sport a contrasting colour from the shoe’s body itself, adding that subtle pop of colour to your step.
And that’s not all — these premium Converse will be made of quality leather and soft suedes, just to add on to the opulence. Just remembering our scrunchy days as teenagers in the classic red Chuck Taylors makes us shed a tear, and boy are we proud to see Converse come this far.
