For some reason or other, bright peachy-melon shades of orange and pink have been all the rage with major sneaker brands this Spring. We’re unsure why too, but based on past experiences of trends in beauty and fashion being intertwined, we’d like to think that the recent peachy vibes all over the beauty community has, in one way or another, made the current sneaker colour of the season.

Adidas Superstar 80s Primeknit in “Solar” Pink
The super minimalist sneaker is so sleek that the iconic Three Stripes branding is barely even visible on the shoe’s upper. The whole of the body is white, sans the bright coral pop of “solar” pink on the heel tab and the tongue of the kick.

Nike Air Max Thea in Bright Melon
The latest colourway on the Air Max Thea silhouette is nothing short of peachy perfection. The cheery monochromatic kick has its upper covered in a “Bright Melon” shade, but everything is balanced off with a classic white sole. The Air Max Thea turns 30 this year — a relatively young model compared to the ever-green, cult-favourite Nike classics, and this electrifying shade everything worth celebrating.
