Roundup of Apple’s Latest Products, Including That Sexy Red iPhone 7

Apple is on fire. The company unveiled on Tuesday (March 21) a slew of exciting new products in a surprise announcement, including a vibrant red iPhone 7 that (unsurprisingly) took the Internet by storm. Here’s all you need to know about the new launches:
Red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

Ah, the star of the show. Apple’s swanky new gadget is actually a special collab between the American electronics giant and AIDS charity (RED), and this product is meant to reflect 10 years of partnership between the two.
Codenamed (PRODUCT)RED, this sexy beast of a phone comes in a sleek red aluminium finish, and has all the features of the earlier iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models, such as water resistance, stereo sound speakers, and of course, the portrait camera function that produces a ‘fake’ bokeh effect (iPhone 7 Plus only).
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED editions will be available in 128GB and 256GB models, with a starting retail price of $1,218, and can be ordered beginning March 24.
9.7-inch iPad

Tablets may not be for everyone, but Apple’s latest version of the iPad might have all the naysayers reconsidering their tech choices. The ever-popular gadget now sports a brighter 9.7-inch retina display that features over 3.1 million pixels for a better visual experience, and not only that, there’s also a brand new A9 chip incorporated for quicker processing and a better gaming performance.
Even better? It’s Apple’s most affordable iPad yet, starting at a reasonable price point of $498. So if you’re looking for an upgrade, it’s wise to snag this beauty as soon as you can.
The iPad comes in silver, gold, and space grey and is retailing at $498 for the 32GB with Wi-Fi model and $698 for the 32GB Wi-Fi plus cellular model, and is available to order beginning March 24.
Clips

It seems as if everyone is dying to take on Snapchat these days, and Apple is guilty of that too, especially after the company announced the launch of Clips – a new app that allows people to create “expressive” videos on the iPhone and iPad.
How it works is that you can combine video clips, photos, and music, and turn them into shareable videos, which can then be posted through the Messages app, Instagram, or Facebook.
Of course, there are fun effects to play with as well, such as comic book filters, speech bubbles, full-screen animated posters, and animated captions. Timelines aren’t necessary here though; you can simply shoot live videos and add them from your library before adding effects.
Clips will be available for free in the App Store in April.
Apple Watch Bands
AppleWatch

Good news for Apple Watch users. Your ability to customise your favourite smartwatch has been given a major boost, thanks to the introduction of a brand new line-up of fun and quirky wristbands for the Apple Watch, Apple Watch Nike+, and Apple Watch Hermès.
New wristband designs for the standard Apple Watch include colours like pebble, azure, and camellia, while Apple Watch Nike+ users can look forward to an anthracite strap in black, a pure platinum strap in white, and a volt strap in black.
For something plushier, there are always the Hermès straps to go for; leather is after all classier.
