Nike's Newest Internationalist Drops The Pink For A Cool "Glacier Blue"

The Nike Internationalist is fast becoming one of our favourite sneakers of 2017 thanks to a continuous string of wishlist-worthy releases, and by the looks of it it seems like the swoosh brand isn’t going to be stopping with the drops anytime soon. After being draped in all the pink colourways worth draping a sneaker in, the retro-inspired sneaker is now receiving the blue treatment as well…and we’re really starting to think that these kicks can look good in anything it’s put in.

One of the standout features of the Internationalist silhouette is the use of both mesh and suede on the upper, which creates a unique two-tone effect despite only using a single colour. This iteration sees the mesh portion decked in an icy baby blue while the suede rocks a relatively more muted shade, and the swoosh on the side has been made deep blue for a nice pop of contrast that stays within the cool colour scheme. As it is with all recent Internationalists, the lower half sports a white midsole / gum sole combination that admittedly looks better on its pink counterpart, but is still a decent look nonetheless.

The Nike Internationalist “Glacier Blue” is available right now, and as you probably know by now you can cop a pair online at select Nike stockists such as Titolo for US$110. Is this the start of the Internationalist’s tour of the colour spectrum? Considering how good the pink — and now blue — versions have been so far, we really wouldn’t mind if the swoosh brand actually went ahead and did that.
