The CHANEL fashion boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands will be closing its doors in June to prepare for a re-opening in November but while you anticipate on that, soak in the Paree ambience here in Singapore as a stand-alone ephemeral boutique opens at the B1 level of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands from June 16th till end of October. What is an ephemeral boutique, you might ask? It is actually the equivalent of a pop-up boutique. We know, fancy shmancy words. But it’s Chanel we’re tallking about here.
Showcasing the CHANEL Paris Cosmopolite 2016/17 Métiers d’art collection, the first of three collections that will be displayed there, the 3,000 square feet boutique will draw inspiration from the iconic hotel – The Ritz Paris, a home kept close to the heart of Gabrielle Chanel and a representation of the idea of Paris that Karl Lagerfeld had in mind. It is also the place where the collection first debuted, featuring Pharrell Williams and Lily-Rose Depp walking down the runway during the lighthearted show. Inspired by how the people dining at the Ritz hotel dress in the 1920s and ’30’s , the collection exudes elegance with a modern twist which includes gilded accessories and leather details.

Having had their ephemeral boutiques set up in locations such as Courchevel, Le Marais and Saint-Tropez, this will be the first time in which a CHANEL ephemeral boutique will open in Singapore, so make sure you don’t miss the chance to witness this dreamy collection.
The CHANEL ephemeral boutique will open from June 16th until the end of October 2017 at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, 2 Bayfront Avenue, Galleria Level B1-142.
