Day or night, rain or shine, there’s one thing that’s constant about Singapore: our blasted tropical humidity.

Sure, air conditioning helps. But what if the weather is simply too hot, or God forbid, what if your air con unit breaks down? To prevent further devastation of suffering from Singapore’s relentless heat, MUJI has what is called the “Circulator Fan”.
Coming in a clean white colourway, with a sleek, minimalist design, the Circulator Fan is meant to achieve high-output of airflow with minimal electricity consumption.
It does more than what regular fans do too. For instance, the Circulator Fan balances out the room temperature, and even improves the air circulation in a room by keeping the airflow in motion, all with lesser noise.
Of course, this cooling effect is increased when used together with an air conditioner. For the most effective usage, just tilt the Circulator Fan at a 45°
angle facing the centre of the room, along the same wall where the air conditioner is located. This ensures that cool air is spread to every nook and cranny in your room.

If you’re looking to score the Circulator Fan though, it’s not going to come cheap. The fan is retailing for $139 at MUJI’s website, and there are definitely cheaper options out there. Still, it’s all about combating the heat at the end of the day, and you’d be hard pressed to find a more efficient fan than this beauty.
