Just when you thought the whole Beauty And The Beast fad was long over, and brands finally stopped shoving our faces with merchandise of all nature inspired by the classic Disney film… well, LORAC Cosmetics doesn’t care what you think. For someone that’s more than just a tad bit late to the game, the Los Angeles-based brand sure stepped in, pretty darn fashionably, with a whole collection of white gold-clad products ranging from eyeshadows to lipsticks.

According to LORAC, these products are in extremely limited quantities due to the “nature of the collaboration”. We’re not particularly sure what that means, but it does spell out the underlying message, loud and clear: These products are to-die-for. In fact, the lipstick set of five cream lippies is already OOS, and the collection just launched yesterday.
Eyeshadow Palette ($48)
What we are really enthralled by though, is the beautiful 16-colour eyeshadow palette that comes in the form of a chunky storybook. Open the Tale As Old As Time palette up, and you’ll be treated to a magical curation of warm and cool tones. The top half features a couple of demure blues and taupes, and the bottom half has the classic browns and rosy pinks.
Cheek Palette ($28)
The cheek palette features a selection of four entirely new shades of blushes and highlighters, from LORAC’s famed Color Source Buildable Blushes and Light Source Illuminating Highlighters. These colours are specially concocted, with inspiration from none other than the film’s iconic rose. Dust on the golden shimmer highlighter on the high points of your cheek, and you’ve got a winning Belle look down pat.
Lipstick Collection ($36)
Here, the said lipstick set that’s currently sold out (curses!). It’s not hard to see why it got snapped up in an instant — these lipstick colours are absolutely stunning, and right up our alley. There’s a bright, warm-toned red, two pinky hues, a true beige, and a milk-chocolate brown. And for just US$36!
Lip Gloss Collection ($34)
If you don’t mind lip glosses, the set of five sports identical shades from the lipstick collection. The intricate rose design on the tubes of these lip glosses look even more majestic than on the components of the bullet lipsticks. Layer these over a similar lipstick shade, and you’ll earn yourself an enviable princess-worthy pout.
