Hello Kitty and Wonder Woman Join Forces For Special Collaboration

Is there any character more iconic than Hello Kitty at the moment? We think not.
After all, everyone’s favourite Japanese cat has been on watches, clothing, make-up, cafés, and even 711 cups. This time around however, the super cat is going full-blown super hero for a collab with Wonder Woman.

According to parent company Sanrio, this one-of-a-kind partnership will mark the first time that Hello Kitty has ever teamed with a non-Japanese character, and it’s all to celebrate the release of Wonder Woman in Japan on August 25, where fans will receive special merchandise after buying movie tickets (available since June 17).
There’s just one slight problem though. The items are obviously only available in Japan, which sucks for the rest of us around the world.
But…if you manage to somehow miraculously score these movie tickets, you’ll receive a rubber key-holder of Hello Kitty in full Amazonian gear or a reprint of the original 1941 DC Comic of when Wonder Woman first appeared.

That said, going through all this hassle might be worthwhile, this collaboration is truly unique at the end of the day. And who knows, Sanrio might just decide to be fair and release international versions of the merch. To find out, stick with us for more updates.
