Sephora's Fall Launches Are Coming

We recently attended Sephora’s Fall Press Day, where we didn’t even know where to rest our eyes, what with all the new makeup, skincare and hair items from the various brands laid out in full glory. Fall is usually the season when the brands release their most exciting launches for the year, so you should definitely be reserving the bulk of your beauty budget for the upcoming months. There are many, many exciting products coming up, but ahead, the ones we are the most excited about.
* All launch dates and prices TBC.

Too Faced Melted Latex Liquified High Shine Lipsticks

too faced

We’re keeping very, very close tabs on the launch date for this one, because this new range includes THAT Unicorn Tears liquid gloss. This just launched in the US about a week ago, and people are getting themselves into a tizzy over the pastel blue/purple opalescence of this shade.
Don’t neglect the rest of the 15 shades, though – they’re all super-saturated colours coat the lips with a high-shine lacquer. Time to finally move on from the mattes, maybe?

Tarte Clay Stick Foundation

Yes, it’s coming!!! We’ve been excited about this since May, because this powder-to-liquid stick foundation comes loaded with the famed Amazonian clay, plus Vitamins C and E to feed the skin well while providing solid matte coverage.

Hourglass Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick
Hourglass Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick in My Icon Is

Here’s our confession: we’re super into this, mostly because of the packaging. This lipstick resembles a super fancy pen, and is the kind of makeup you’ll actually wish doesn’t last very long, just so you can keep whipping it out to do a touch up, and show it off at the same time. Hourglass assures us this satin formula is longwearing, however; there are a whopping 30 shades to choose from.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Under(Cover) Perfecting Coconut Eye Primer
Marc Jacobs Beauty Under(cover) Coconut Eye Primer

YAAS Marc Jacobs Beauty, keep expanding the Coconut range, please. The newest addition is this eye primer, that has a creamy consistency and that lush coconut scent. Silica spheres and bark extract absorb excess oil from the lids, and provide a blurring effect over the skin.

Zoeva The Basic Moment Collection
zoeva basic moment

We don’t mean that kind of “basic” in this case; these Zoeva palettes are really all about only the necessities that will help you save time. The 10 eyeshadow colours and 3 blushes are ones that are universally flattering and “eternally beautiful”. Zoeva palettes are really one of the most underrated – they’re gorgeous, have great colour payoff, and blend easily.

Blithe Anti-Polluaging Himalayan Pink Salt Cleansing Water
Blithe Anti-Polluaging Himalayan Pink Salt Cleansing Water

We’re certain “polluaging” isn’t a word, but what we’re also certain of is this: whatever’s in this pretty pink bottle smells heavenly, and we can’t wait to rub it all over our face. As the name implies, the main ingredient is Himalayan pink salt, good for soothing irritated skin. The texture’s slightly heavier than water, and feels like almost like an essence on the skin – the brand says this removes the need for rubbing off makeup from your skin.

Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Line
cicapair

Again, with the strange words: we’re not entirely sure how the word “Cicapair” came about, but this Dr. Jart+ line is made to soothe sensitive skin. The main ingredient is the extract of the Centella Asiatica plant, known as “tiger grass” in Korea because of how tigers supposedly rolled around on the plant to heal their wounds (cool story). The range is made up of a serum, cream, night cream mask, as well as a particularly interesting tinted moisturiser that changes colour from green to beige upon contact with the skin.
