Back in 2004 when Mean Girls was released, every girl clique out there had their very own versions of the burn book, where all the gossip and names of the people we “unfriended” went into. Yeap, a lil childish but 13 years on, we’re still not over it. And to feed our inner “mean girl”, Spectrum Collections announced last Wednesday (of course), that they’ve partnered with Paramount Pictures to bring in an official Mean Girls-inspired makeup brush line and makeup bags that are a legit replica of the burn book. That is so fetch!
The most basic set consists of 10 brushes that comes with a Spectrum x Mean Girls pouch bag, and costs £49.99. But we mean, the whole point of this collection is to get the Burn Book, right? You can opt for the mini Burn Book bag with 10 brushes stored inside for £79.99, or purchase a full size Burn Book Brush Book that can hold up to 40 brushes for £49.99.
The bristles are in pink (obvi!) and the handles of the brushes have an ombre gradation, running from pink to purple. And that’s not all – each brush features a Mean Girls quote that we’ve fully memorised over the years, such as the iconic line: “On Wednesdays, we wear pink”.
