You’ve seen wacky videos of people swimming in their self-made slime and probably thought it looked fun and wanted to try it out for yourself, but didn’t want to deal with the mess and the nagging from your mum that comes after. But guess what? Now you can.
When Lush released their latest product, Jelly Bombs, imagine how excited the inner kids in all of us were? These jelly bombs release “a spectacular jelly made from sodium alginate, which comes from a mineral-rich seaweed” when it mixes with water. Oh, and there’s one that is Harry Potter-inspired, which is our fav (obvi) and the one that we’re gonna get for our virgin jelly bomb bath.
There are currently four jelly bombs available – Marmalade, The Big Sleep, Green Coconut and the Dark Arts (Oooo…). Needless to say, we’re zooming right in on the Harry Potter-themed one. Here’s how Lush described it: “When you’re feeling like going to the dark side, dabble in the dark arts, slither into a hot bath and cast this Jelly Bomb into the water.” Oh Lush, we totally got your pun: “Slyther-in”. Shame on you if you didn’t get that!
The Dark Arts jelly bomb is a concoction of Brazilian orange oil, spicy cinnamon leaf oil and sweet almond essential oil while The Big Sleep is a comforting mix of chamomile and lavender that will leave you feeling calm and relaxed.

For those of you who can’t travel far for a beach holiday, you can now do so at the comfort of your own bathtub with the Green Coconut jelly bomb that comes with a tropical scent. Lastly, Marmalade, as the name suggests, is a citrus-packed jelly bomb that will help brighten the skin with all that zesty goodness.
But before you get too excited and drop your jelly bomb into your bathtub, you might want to grab your phone real quick to get a Boomerang shot for your Instagram Stories. You’re welcome.
The jelly bombs are only currently available in the UK and will be available in the US this Fall, so we can’t really tell if it will reach Singapore anytime soon. Your best bet is to order it online since Lush UK do provide international shipping.
