We honestly don’t know how she does it, but Huda Kattan is quite possibly the most successful beauty blogger to helm her very own makeup brand. Since the initiation of Huda Beauty, the world of liquid lipsticks, lip pencils, highlighters and falsies have never been the same. She’s someone who understands the challenges and knows the tricks to taking a perfect selfie for Instagram, and now she’s back to render your photo filters obsolete with her latest lineup of foundations.
The beauty guru gave us a little sneak peek of her new #FauxFilter Foundation via Snapchat back in December 2016, and she teased us earlier again this year in February, confirming the collection would carry more than 20 shades. Can we get an amen? Given her inclusive approach to makeup, it’s natural to expect a much wider range of shades that’ll help colour-match those with darker skin tones. We know for a fact that her fellow muslim beauty bloggers and loyal customers will be proud to hear about this.
So far, we’ve got a preview of its packaging, but she hasn’t locked down an official launch date yet. She described her product as one that gives super full coverage, but still looks like skin, and even showed us a couple of shade swatches. By the looks of that before and after evidence, we’re pretty sure these foundations will fly off every shelf they’re stocked on, so ready your wallets, guys.
