Magnum Pleasure Store
Magnum’s maiden flagship store in Singapore lets diners customise their very own ice cream with choices of dark, milk, or white Belgian chocolate, with over 18 toppings to choose from, like cocoa nibs, rose petals, and goji berries. Also, for the first time in Asia, there’ll be a coffee station serving aromatic drinks with Magnum chocolate-infused coffee beans, making each visit a treat for the senses.

GODIVA Chocolatier Café
Like the Magnum Pleasure Store, GODIVA’s first ever café in Singapore is practically heaven on earth for all chocolate lovers. Down here, you can look forward to indulging in a delightful array of decadent treats, such as the GODIVA Chocolate Cheesecake ($12); beautiful cheese slathered on a Belgium Speculoos cookie crust, as well as a huge selection of pralines, soft serves, and frappes.

Bojio Café
By virtue of its name alone, this is one place you’ve really got to jio your friends to. Besides being a pun magnet, this space at Westgate Mall serves up every stereotypical Insta-worthy dish you can think of. For example, there’s a Raclette Cheese Toast ($18.90), Charcoal Lava Toast ($16.90), and an interesting dish called the Mentaiko Lava Toast ($17.90) – definitely made for those heart-shaped likes.

Cinnamoroll Café x Kumoya
Okay, so Kumoya’s Cinnamoroll Café pop-up isn’t exactly new – it’s been around since May actually, but Sanrio fans have till 13 August to check out the space. For those of you not in the know, Cinnamoroll is a white puppy with long ears and blue eyes. While he may not be as popular as Gudetama, Hello Kitty, or Pompompurin, he certainly makes for kawaii fodder for those Instagram flat lay shots.

Café&Meal MUJI @ Plaza Singapura
Everyone’s been raving about MUJI’s new store at Plaza Singapura and rightly so. The space has five unique concepts, with plenty of deals for shoppers to enjoy. Quite underrated however is its latest Café&Meal MUJI. The third outlet of MUJI’s café series lets you enjoy all your favourite foodie classics, in addition to two new dishes – a Pork Katsu Donburi ($15.90) and Cheese Baked Butter Curry Chicken Rice ($17.90).

Five Ten
Three words are all you need to know here: Taiwanese comfort food. The latest eatery to pop up at Chinatown serves up a mouthwatering range of Taiwanese cuisine at dirt cheap prices (think $5 to $10), with the menu featuring classic delights such as Lu Rou ($10); juicy pork belly doused in soy sauce, and Fried Chicken ($5); crispy poultry seasoned with sesame, soy, and nori mayonnaise. Delicious.

The Affogato Bar
The Bukit Timah area is a fertile breeding ground for cafés, so it’s no real surprise that a place like The Affogato Bar has popped up. This new space just so happens to be the first specialty Affogato café in Singapore, so caffeine lovers can expect all kinds of coffee treats to be dished out over here, from double shots of espresso to banana pecan ice cream drenched with Mocharoma.

Project Açaí East
After almost two years of providing health nuts with fruit-crammed Açaí bowls at Holland Village and Takashimaya, Project Açaí East has just opened its third outlet at Katong. Propped directly opposite quaint Peranakan shop houses, the new space will carry an exclusive menu featuring everybody’s favourite superfruit, as well as a small selection of hot options for vegans.
