Although the entire Harry Potter movie sequel has long ended, we muggles can never get enough of all the merchandise inspired by the wizarding world. When Lush recently came up with a Dark Arts Jelly Bomb, you bet we were thrilled to see a concoction brewing in our bathtubs. But then one brand decided to take it one step further, and we don’t exactly know how to react: Harry Potter-themed lingerie.
Yeap, this brand just turned a family-friendly movie into something really uncomfortable. Online lingerie retailer, Yandy, are the ones behind the launch of the “Fantasy Lingerie Line” and this definitely isn’t their first foray into dress-up fantasy outfits. Previously, the brand has created princess-themed lingerie and undergarments inspired by iconic characters including Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy and even Little Red Riding Hood, but role-playing as a Hogwarts student is probably one of the weirdest things we’ve ever heard of today.
The lingerie set features a grey sheer lace crop top with a white collar, a sheer burgundy high-waisted panty with a grey lace trim, a cheeky cut back, removable burgundy and gold suspenders, and a matching striped tie. Quoting from the brand themselves, you probably will be able to “cast a bewitching spell” on your significant other in this never-before-seen lingerie. And if you want to go all out and immerse yourself in the full Harry Potter experience, Yandy does sell separate brooms to round off the look.
Price-wise, they are pretty affordable, with the lingerie set available for pre-order at US$36, while the broom retails for US$14. In the meantime, you might also want to check out their other playful costumes and lingerie selections on their website. And just so you know, they have a swimwear and active wear section as well, and they ain’t too shabby either.
