For the lazy person, Deliveroo’s Trick-or-Treating is totally the way forward. Scrap actively hunting for a Halloween experience that’s unique/quirky/interesting, why not wait for Deliveroo to bring Halloween to you?
With every food order from a Deliveroo Editions’ restaurant, a Jack O’Lantern will be delivered to East Coast customers. These mysterious pumpkins will contain either a Trick or Treat, all picked entirely at random. Deliveroo’s remaining tightlipped on what their Tricks are (clue: it involves an eight-legged friend) but their Treats make the gamble worth it. Lucky Trick-or-Treaters will receive a Treat that could either be a FitBit, GoPro or a SG$50 gift card to a local restaurant.
But yes, you do have to be an Eastie to join in the Halloween fun and orders have to be made from a Deliveroo Editions restaurant. Not that we’re at a shortage of food to order with Deliveroo Editions, since it includes restaurants like VIOS by Blu Kouzina, Blu Kouzina, Kurry Korner, Pho Stop, and Aloha Poké.
From salmon and tuna poké bowls to grilled Greek meat skewers, Halloween isn’t just a feast for the sweet-tooth but also for those craving a freshly-made meal. Deliveroo Editions was just introduced earlier this year and features delivery-only centralised kitchens. All meals are prepared on-site at their kitchen in Katong, where chefs from these restaurants whip out fresh and piping-hot food.
Deliveroo’s Trick-or-Treat is available exclusively on 31st October from all Deliveroo Editions’ restaurants above.
