London designers have been slaying in their collaborations with high street brands this year, from JW Anderson x Uniqlo AW17‘s line-up of colourful stripes and sensible winter workwear to Erdem x H&M who bestowed us with gardens of ornate florals on silk shirts, pants and suits. By any off-chance you saw the crowds these collaborations drew, you would’ve known they were set for success.
For those of us who weren’t travelling overseas anytime soon, the half of JW Anderson x Uniqlo AW17 collection dedicated to icier weather didn’t jive well with our practical sartorial needs. Unable to buy into all the pieces left us honestly unsatisfied, but our frowns have been turned upside down because JW Anderson and Uniqlo have just announced they’re teaming up again for another line of clothing for SS18.

We literally know nothing about the collection other than it’s happening, so we can only hypothesise what’ll hit stores for our grabs early next year. If Anderson’s eponymous label’s SS18 runway looks are any indication of this upcoming drop’s aesthetic leaning, we can expect to see iterations of Bermuda shorts and printed t-shirts (maybe) for mens, and for womenswear asymmetric skirts and flowy linen.
