When it comes to New Year’s Eve plans, there’s only one item on the list for hardcore partygoers, and nope; it doesn’t include cramming with the crowds for fireworks, or God forbid, a quiet evening at home with the television on. In fact, the only viable option is Sentosa’s Siloso Beach Party. Nothing else will suffice.
The annual dance affair, back for its 11th edition, will once again feature a line-up of tantalising talent. Everyone knows the Netherlands is pure EDM heaven, and Dutch DJ’s are the Gods manning the decks. Well, this year’s Siloso Beach Party will have two of them on stage at the same time, with DJ duo Bassjackers as headliners.
Ranked number 35 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs of 2017, the prog house pair made their debuts in Singapore earlier this year at rooftop nightclub CÉ LA VI, although the Siloso show is probably a better stage for them to showcase their earth-shattering, bass prowess, which you can check out in the video below:
That’s not all the sonic goodness that partygoers can look forward to though. Joining Bassjackers on stage is a medley of Asia’s finest DJ’s, including Malaysia’s DJ Jenni-F, Thailaind’s Foamberry, Japan’s VDJ Ta-Shi, and local acts DJ Kaylova, DJ Ollie-Des, DJ Caden, DJ Jensen, Doppelgangerz, as well as Sentosa DJ Spin Off winner The Kendrick.
And here are some figures for you to munch on: this year’s Siloso Beach Party will be held on 10,000 square metres of space, with 6,000 fireworks shots, and 50,000 litres of foamy water.
