We're Diggin' The New Urban Decay Distortion Eyeshadow Palette

We can barely keep up with all the new releases from the big makeup brands recently! For the holidays, Urban Decay has launched the Heavy Metals eyeshadow palette, Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner, and now the new UD Distortion Palette.

We aren’t complaining of course.
The limited edition palette features fifteen shades – ten solid colours (nine are brand new) and five holographic “transformer hues” that are meant to be layered on top of the other colours to make new shades. Cool stuff huh!?

As you can see in the video above, all you gotta do is layer the top-row shadows (a.k.a the transformer hues) from the Distortion palette over the other shades and watch them instantly transform into shifty, multidimensional hues – much like magic. The holographic shades come in gold shift, green shift, blue shift, lavender shift, and pink shift, and the colours near them have similar tones.
Plus, the colourway? It’s like a gem-toned rainbow dream for colourful shadow wearers. Take a peek at all of the colours up close below.

You only need one swipe to achieve full colour, but you can intensify the pigments by slightly wetting your applicator. The shadows come in a variety of finishes, including mattes and foils, so beauty junkies can create a bevy of cool looks.

And because this is 2017 and holographic = life, there’s a beautiful faceted cover that’s as Instagram-ready as anything we’ve seen.

Our Distortion palette is as trippy on the outside as it is on the inside. 😮😍#ShiftYourShadow #UrbanDecay
