Besides the enthusiastic, and sometimes, heated discussions of which was the best Pokémon (that discussion ends with Mewtwo, enough said), the daily life of a 90’s primary school kid consisted mostly of going to school and home again. But of course, that daily routine was interposed with the phenomenon known as Tamagotchi.
Inside of classrooms and out, the digital pet that you had to feed, clean, and put to sleep received more attention than any school textbook ever did, and one generation later, it’s back to do the same. This time, however, the Tamagotchi is shedding its 8-bit skin and turning full 3D as a smartphone game on iOS and Android.
Called My Tamagotchi Forever, the free-to-download game is set in an overly cheerful looking and colourful place called “Tamatown”, sporting a visual aesthetic that’s pretty much similar to Nintendo’s latest mobile game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. But that’s not the only difference from the old Tamagotchi series.
In Tamatown, you can make friends with other Tamagotchi’s. And there seems to be a new AR aspect about the game (as seen in the official trailer). Unfortunately, you can’t escape the inevitable (and unavoidable) cash cow that is free-to-download mobile games, as real currency is needed to unlock special items like costumes or food.
That said; if you’re interested in playing the game, you’ve got to wait till it officially launches in 2018. In the meantime, you can register on the game’s official website to become the inspiration for a new Tamagotchi character, which will eventually be added in the game.

NYLON Team Picks: Our Very Biased List Of The Best Holiday Beauty Sets
It’s the most wonderful time of the year — especially when it comes to beauty gift sets! Here at the NYLON office, we’ve been flooded with all sorts of festive goodies (yay!), from limited edition makeup sets, blockbuster makeup sets that include every shade we ever dreamed of, or skincare hampers that pool together the best items each brand’s known for. And still, a few items rise above the rest… call us biased, but here’s the a list of the NYLON’s team most coveted holiday collections — the ones we’ll definitely spend money on.
“The Fresh lip balm set is the one Holiday set I always look out for. It’s the only time Fresh releases their mini-sized lip balms that are perfect for popping in the bag or even a pocket. I find the regular-sized ones too big to travel with.” — Adele Chan, Editor-in-Chief
“I blame my job for making me desire so many of these holiday makeup sets — seriously, writing about them or looking at them all day long (for work!) has me bookmarking so many links, I’m beginning to worry about commitment issues. But here’s a brand I’ll have no trouble committing to — NARS always does gorgeous holiday gift sets, and this year’s Man Ray for NARS collection is no different. There’s a beautiful surrealist image, in classy monochrome, that greets you when you pick up this blush palette, while opening it up will unveil a trio of shades that include the classic Laguna bronzer, a shimmery rose highlight, and a pop of bright watermelon red. Yep, it’s equally stunning, inside and out. ” — Amelia Tan, Associate Editor
“Ever since Rituel de Fille released their black Inner Glow Crème Pigment, I’ve kept a close eye on this spellbinding makeup brand, waiting for their next major drop. So when the Ramos sisters announced a partnership with one of my favourite goth rockers Chelsea Wolfe, it became the beauty collaboration I never knew I needed. That deep red lip shade (that looks a little like dried blood) is one I’d reach for on special occasions, and while I’m not particularly fond of wearing eyeshadows, I’d definitely try to sport that gorgeous taupe-y hue on my lids. The best part? Their products are made with 99% natural ingredients. Yup, I’m making my purchase tonight, and I’ll even throw in their Whitethorn Enchanted Lip Sheer, too. Can’t help it.” — Jade Yeo, Writer
“For me, Mamonde was initially a cheaper alternative to Fresh, but I soon fell in love with Korean skincare. I’ll admit that it was Mamonde’s gorgeous packaging that caught my attention, but the lightweight formula seemed to calm my skin down after a heavy breakout when I tried to switch skincare brands. The First Energy line is meant to target combination skin, which is perfect for me right now. Using honeysuckle flower extracts, the First Energy line contains anti-oxidants for the skin too, which means healthier and more resilient skin (yay!). I also really love how Mamonde uses all-natural ingredients extracted from flowers; it might sound dumb, but just knowing it’s inspired by flowers makes me feel a little bit happier whenever I use any Mamonde product.” — Michelle Ng, Writer
“Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita was my first liquid lipstick. I own liquid lipsticks from other brands too but Kat Von D’s my absolute favourite! It’s really pigmented, not drying on the lips at all and doesn’t transfer easily. Most times I don’t even have to touch up and reapply the lipstick again – they’re THAT good! Since my Lolita purchase, I’ve not bought any of her other products yet so I’m definitely keen to try her lip liner set especially since they come in 15 gorgeous colours. Of course I’m not just going to use them as lip liners, I’m so ready to experiment, apply them on my eyes too and create fun looks for the holiday season.” — Nurasyiqin Sedik, Media Executive
“I find it super relaxing during the weekend to just lay around with a face mask on. This gift set from Fresh gives me four to try! I’m pretty picky when it comes to my skin care but with this variety I’ll be sure to find a new favourite product.” — Eleni Kontorigas, Media Executive
“I like cleansers, and I like cocktails – Erno Laszlo’s Cleansing Cocktail Set is a no-brainer since its me play at being a skincare mixologist. Fancy, right? There are three different cleansing oils for me to mix: Sensitive for irritated skin, Hydra-Therapy for deep hydration, and Detoxifying for congested skin. It comes with a sea mud deep cleansing bar, that you’re meant to use after the oils. I also love how these oils are travel-sized at 15ml per bottle, so you can easily lug it along when travelling.” — Pailin Boonlong
Knightfall is the New Medieval Show That’ll Satisfy Your Post-GOT Cravings
Winter is coming. Oh wait, no. It’s actually gone. With the heart-pumping finale of Game of Thrones last airing in August, our quest for medieval television satisfaction has come to naught in recent months. Sure, there was the odd Netflix show or two to binge on. But nothing got us on the edge of our seats like how the whims of Westeros could.
Till now, that is.
Thankfully, a new entertainment contender has risen from the Middle Ages to glue our eyes to TV screens again, and that show is Knightfall.
Following the lives of the Knights Templar; aka the elite warriors of the Crusade; aka people who you absolutely do not want to f*ck with, Knightfall is set in the years after the Fall of Acre, at a time when both the Holy Land was lost. In other words, it was a degenerate period of chaos and conquest. Just think of it as the medieval equivalent of Monopoly.
Knights don't care that winter is coming… pic.twitter.com/rKdSTPIDHP
— #Knightfall (@KnightfallShow) November 20, 2017
Of course, nobody dies in Monopoly, and instead of properties (or land), everyone has their sights on one prize and one prize only – the Holy Grail (for those of you not in the know, the Holy Grail is a vessel that was traditionally thought to be the cup that Jesus Christ drank from at the Last Supper).
And with such treasure at stake, it’s only inevitable that sh*t hits the fan. Well, in a sword-swinging way and all that.
With the Knights on a manic mission to find the lost Cup of Christ, and other significant players like the Church and the Kingdom of Philip the Fair entering the fray, will this end the Templar Order? Or will they stand tall with their prize?
There’s only one way to find out, and that’s to tune in to the debut of Knightfall on Dec 7, 9.55pm on HISTORY, Singtel TV Ch 209 and StarHub TV Ch 401.

MUJI is Making X’mas Shopping Great Again this December
There are many things to love about Christmas. Shopping is not one of them. After all, there’s no bigger hassle than buying gifts – just too many things can go wrong; the scariest being that what you’ve bought isn’t appreciated.
While you can’t do much about that, you can always, always play it safe with MUJI. Besides being the most popular brand at Secret Santas, the Japanese retail company has an enormous list of gift sets for shoppers to choose from – 87 in total, and here’s what you should look out for:
Garments
Plenty of people love to clear their annual leave by visiting colder countries. So why not help them enjoy their wintery escapes in comfort?
Stationery
MUJI is all about functionality and style, and nothing epitomises that better than the company’s range of cute stationery sets that’ll come in handy for organising the mess on your colleague’s desk.
Travel
We all know someone who’s been bitten by the travel bug. And they’ll appreciate nothing more than you helping them stock up on essentials like neck cushions, luggage bags, and skincare – especially skincare.
Household
Home is where the heart is, so it kind of makes sense to spruce up the household for Christmas. From comfy Beads Sofa Carrier Bags to an adorable Panda cushion, and Aroma Diffusers to Bedlinen, you can do exactly just that with MUJI’s gorgeous home sets.
Kitchen
If you’re a sucker for traditionally designed tableware, or know someone who is, than you won’t go wrong with MUJI’s Hasami Ware Series.
Hampers
Hampers are great if you can’t decide what to buy, and MUJI has seven different ones to choose from, with a wide range of goodies inside, from cutlery to snacks.
IDÉE
At the end of the day, nothing beats quality. And you’ll find that in abundance at MUJI’s IDÉE sector, which features limited edition Christmas ornaments and collections from renowned product designers, including ceramic cups and festive figurines.
Enjoying the Festive Spirit at MUJI
More than just a retail playground, the space at MUJI gives you an all-round shopping experience, especially at the Plaza Singapura store. There’s Café&Meal MUJI to eat delicious food at, while Open MUJI – an event space, is running exhibitions all the way till Dec 27.
First up at Open MUJI is a “Homemade Christmas – Hexen House Town”, an intricate display that features 10 Hexen Houses, all made from MUJI biscuits and candies, forming landmarks like MBS and the Merlion, alongside a wintery wonderland, and a moving toy train.
And if that doesn’t invoke the ol’ yuletide spirit in you, then the wall mural at Open MUJI will. Hand painted with the theme of “Christmas in the Woods”, this beautiful piece of artwork is an initiative in support of the Children’s Cancer Foundation, and is meant to raise awareness of childhood cancer.

Happy Christmas – Cylinder Trees
There’ll also be three cylindrical Christmas trees scattered around MUJI’s Plaza Singapura store. Meticulously hand-painted by students from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, each cylinder – which, fun fact: belongs to Found MUJI as a selling item called “Pulp Storage”, tells a unique Christmas tale, and is the perfect embodiment of MUJI’s push for creativity. Check out the designs below:
Whatever the case may be; you’ll find plenty of things to do at MUJI, and that includes making your Christmas shopping that much less painful.

How You Can Add Sequins To Your Wardrobe For All Your Festive Parties
It’s December and the countdown to all your Christmas/ New Year’s celebrations have officially began. And when you rake through your closet, if you’re anything like us – you’re going to see a series of clothes that are black, black, and the odd neutral shade. Perfect for everyday wear, not so great for parties. When browsing our favourite go-to online site (Zalora, what else?), we stumbled across a few items that’ll be perfect for your boozy Sunday brunches to after-work drinks. They all have one thing in common – they come covered in sequins and are absolutely perfect for all your festive celebrations.
Topshop Moto Sequin Denim Jacket, $119
OK, the jacket’s still mostly black but it’s both versatile and sparkly – a rare combination to find. It’s the trick to how you can look great in sequins, sparkle, and all things shiny. Depending on when you’ll be wearing this (it’s versatile enough to carry you from day to night), you can match it up with different items that are already in your closet. For a safe choice, pair it with neutral shades, something in denim and a plain top. After all, balance is key and while you want to be rocking these sequins, you don’t want to look like you went too overboard. For a wilder night out, just throw on a pair of heels and a pair of dangly earrings, and you’re good to go.
TFNC Moon Sequin Dress, $81.90
Deck yourself out in gold sequins with this Moon Sequin Dress from TFNC. Although it’s completely covered in sequins, it has a matte finish so you wouldn’t get too overwhelmed by all the gold sparkle and shimmer. Made with a stretchy fabric and ¾ sleeves, this dress is an easy way for anyone to pull off sequins for a festive gold glow.
Dorothy Perkins Black Brandi Sequined Heels, $79.90
To pull off sequins, you don’t have to be completely adorned in them – a little goes a long way. These heels from Dorothy Perkins add sparkle to your night and 10.5cm to your height. The sequins are iridescent, giving off a purple-blue glow. Once you’ve paired it with your chosen little black dress, totter away on these, and watch as everyone’s eyes are drawn to your feet.
Wallis Silver Sequin Sleeve Top, $89.90
With a choker neckline, this sequined top sparkles with every move. It almost looks like it’s from another world, especially when the silver sequins catch the light. It has a slight ruffle sleeve that enhances the sway of the fabric. Pair with casual black jeans and heeled boots to keep that chic but edgy look.

NYLON's Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide: Your Inner Hypebeast Wannabe
We’re still going strong with our 2017 Christmas gift guides, now with an entire category dedicated to another buzzword of the year – the hypebeast. The ‘hypebeast’ is not a new concept in the world of street hype, although this year saw a sudden spike in interest when Supreme decided to collaborate with Louis Vuitton for one of the most high-profile collaborations ever. Chances are, you probably couldn’t afford anything from the Supreme X Louis Vuitton collection or maybe you didn’t want to camp out in the heat overnight just for a couple of items.
We might secretly be judging all those street kids dripping in the hype from the brands they decorate themselves with, but inside we all wish to be like them too. If you didn’t manage to cop anything from the Supreme X Louis Vuitton drop, maybe these gift ideas might be able to quench the inner hypebeast in you, or that friend of yours. Now, all they need is a ghetto backdrop, a dope photographer, and invites to the coolest, most exclusive end-of-year parties.
1. Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Sneaker, $1,990, and Minna Parikka Sneaker, $530, available at Pedder on Scotts
Your friend will need something comfy to slip on while in the queue for the next hyped shoe drop – it could be days! If you’re feeling generous, these are great options, whether it’s excessive pink glitter, or deliberately scuffed leather sneakers.
2.Vetements x Reebok Metal Cotton-blend Socks, $105, available at Matchesfashion.com
The perfect accessory for the iconic DHL tee from Vetements. Teaming up with Reebok, the label has delivered a pair of double-knitted socks in an eye-catching yellow and metallic red jacquard, complete with a metal-inspired logo for an extra touch of irreverence.
3. Supreme Leopard Fleece Waist Bag, US$195, available at ebay.com (previously at supremenewyork.com)
Whether it’s a sweatshirt, sneakers, or heck, brick, you know it’s gonna sell like… well, Supreme. Case in point: this fanny pack was available on the website a week ago, and now it isn’t.
4. Adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange – Overkill & Fruition Tubular Elastic (Linen), $229, available at Dover Street Market Singapore
Reworking the ever-popular Adidas Consortium silhouette, the Sneaker Exchange project saw Las Vegas vintage clothing purveyor Fruition and German sneaker stockist Overkill mix for a stylish collaboration. With pastel-coloured tweed uppers, elastic wraps in a sock-like construction, and a hint of rose gold, these easy slip-on kicks will make any sneakerhead’s year.
5. BAPE ABC Skateboards, US$113, available at select BAPE retail stores and bape.com.
Okay, so this is nowhere near as ridiculous as a Supreme umbrella or a Prada paper clip, but if you still want to get your hypebeast game up without looking like a total douche, do yourself a favour and get these stylish BAPE ABC Skateboards. Oh, and it’d help if you knew how to skate too – don’t want to be losing any of that street cred.
6. Kanye West Soft Ass Rapper Pillows, 75 EUR, available at calebthomas.us
Nothing’s more hype out there right now than hip hop, and Kanye is king of them all – anything to do with him instantly becomes legit swag. Although, you can now plonk that ass of yours on his face, taking getting close to a celebrity to a whole new (and weird, fetish-like) level.
7. Tarab Longboard, US$299 for a deck, available at loadedboards.com, Longboard Love and other authorised retailers
Easily cruise all over town and increase your street cred at the same time! The deck is shaped for easier gripping to make it easier to pick up freestyling. With your trusty board, there is no such thing as MRT breakdowns and traffic jams in your dictionary.
8. Lord Nermal Slides in Pink, US$40, available at RipnDipClothing.com
Pink, comfy, and totally Insta-worthy? You know you need these slides that instantly make you feel like you’re at home without sacrificing your street cred!
9. Gucci Printed Cotton T-shirt, $550, available at Gucci stores
It’s the year of slogan tees, isn’t it, from the serious affair of t-shirts with political messages, to the tongue-in-cheek ones who embrace irreverent humour – and this Gucci tee (all hits this year!) falls under the latter. With the whole ‘more is more’ concept in tow, normcore never looked better.

These Ugly Christmas Sweaters Are Scarier Than Seeing A Ghost
Ding Ding Ding! Christmas is barely a month away, and with great treats like Elizabeth Arden’s gift sets and Starbucks’ Christmas Tree Dark Mocha and all the super amazing wonderful gifts we’d like to receive to keep us pretty and our stomachs filled with warmth, it seems like the Christmas spirit only brings tidings of joy. And much like Grinch and Krampus play important roles in ringing in the aura of the season, the rather ironic effects of donning ugly sweaters have proven time and time again to be a rite of passage for many who want to really, how should we say, get into it. While we can’t cop to ever having tried out this cringe-y tradition (even if we have, we’re not telling!), the idea’s definitely popped into our minds once in a while. Here’re some of our top picks of ugly Christmas sweaters visually speaking not for the faint of heart. And kids, if you’re reading this: don’t try this at home!
1. The Tacky Christmas Sweater
Knit Christmas Sweater USD24.99, Hooded Christmas Sweater USD24.99, Knit Sweater USD24.99 from H&M US
To be fair, we’re not trying to disparage H&M for their ever-endearing Christmas sweaters we’re sure were made with sincerest intentions. But more often than not we’re nonetheless appalled by the quality of designs they manage to come up with. Just take for example this green T-Rex swathed in ferry lights that serves only the purpose of delivering a one-off cheesy pun. Or this elf costume that we’d dare say looks good paired with nothing. Otherwise, how about a green jumper that looks like it’s collected all the debris from the aftermath of a Christmas party rager?
2. The Innuendo Christmas Sweater
Sexy Christmas Tan Sweatshirt USD89.95, Sexy Christmas Chick Sweatshirt USD89.95, Big Booty Sweatshirt USD89.95 on Beloved Shirts
Remember Michael Scott from The Office‘s favourite running “That’s what she said” jokes? Imagine all them printed onto your sweaters and this is probably what it’ll look like. The dad bod has recently become a new kind of subversive sexy, so why try this sweatshirt which instantly makes you look like you have one and up the ante by having printed ornaments clipped onto your printed nipples? This Christmas-tree bra sweatshirt frankly looks less putrid placed beside it, and even less so is the peach-logoed one even though we can only imagine why anyone would want a peach that enlarged for the holidays.
3. The Celebrity Christmas Sweater
Dabbing Santa Trap Crewneck Sweater [Pink] USD34.99, Thicc Purple Crewneck USD55, Whoopi Octopus USD89
Remember 2 Chainz’s pink Trap House built earlier this year where he occupied a random abandoned apartment and literally painted it all pink? Rap fans flooded to it as a meeting ground and to snap pictures for Instagram, but the hype clearly hasn’t died down — you can now visit that house with this dabbing Santa sweater, and while it does look kind of cute, we’re not sure everyone will be able to pull it off. Beyonce can do no wrong, and with this Thicc purple sweater, she’s basically written what we’re all thinking so we don’t have to say it ourselves: don’t judge us, we’re gonna eat. Hanukkah is the lesser-celebrated Jewish holiday to Christmas, but it’s never not okay to wear a Octupus-menorah giving us The Little Mermaid meets Frozen vibes made by EGOT-winning TV show host of The View Whoopi Goldberg.
Now for some actually decent Christmas sweaters…
By now you’d have probably guessed it’s actually harder than it looks stumbling upon a good Christmas sweater that balances holiday cheer with a sense of style. These aren’t specifically meant to be worn during the Christmas time, and we certainly plan to wear them all year round, but taking them out on the streets and to family gatherings during the festive period somehow feels right.
Mansur Gavriel Cable-knit cashmere turtleneck sweater USD1,228.25, Gucci Bow-embellished ribbed wool-blend sweater USD1,605, Theory Karenia cashmere sweater USD486.03 on Net-a-Porter
Mansur Gavriel has us still yearning for their bucket bags in every wonderful pastel shade, but they also produce a great line of wearables and accessories. This cable-knit cashmere sweater is perfect for cuddling by the fireplace with loved ones over a marathon of must-see Christmas movies. If you’re in a theatrical mood, why not put on this Gucci bow-embellished sweater and start singing “Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow!” à la Annie, our favourite childhood heroine with fluffy orange hair. If all else fails, this Theory cashmere sweater in cinnamon orange is definitely outfit-appropriate for meeting Santa and kind of matches the colour of alcohol so even if you spill a little on yourself…

NYLON's Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide: The Total Gamer Geek
We all know one of them; the gaming enthusiast who’s constantly glued to the gaming device of their choice, whether it’s a portable one or not, and who can skilfully manoeuvre zombie outbreaks and war zones (virtual ones) with just a few choice buttons and sheer grit.
Sure, they get pretty holed up at times, a little antisocial maybe, but in no way do we imply nerdiness — after all, everyone’s a gamer nowadays, whether they’re crushin’ candy on their mobile phone, unceremoniously gathering in crowds to silently tap on their phones (we’re looking at you Pokémon Go masters), or safe at home mashing buttons on their zhng-ed up keyboard or gaming console controller. And the best among us? They’re hooked up to a mic, forging new alliances and being intrepid explorers of new alternative universes, we swear (and they literally do too) that it’s as romantic as it sounds.
Now, these gamers might be oddly specific about their technology, but we reckon we did a good job with some of these. Warning: lots of Star Wars geekery ahead, because are you really a geek if you’re not into the biggest space odyssey ever?

The set includes Harley Quinn as well, with her own mobile cannon with a six-stud rapid shooter.

Domino’s Pizza Cares About All You Cheese Lovers Out There
Domino’s Pizza has coined a new term for all cheese-lovers out there, and it’s for the combination of cheddar and mozzarella. They’ve introduced the Cheddarella Cheesy Crust as a twist on the classic Cheesy Crust – it’s stuffed with cheddar and mozzarella, and also topped with parmesan for a stringy bite with every mouthful.
We tried the Cheddarella Cheesy Crust ourselves and received mixed reactions from the team (really, as mixed as you can get). Some found the crust to be powdery and dry…and even, gasp, non-stringy. These were the people who declared themselves as cheese-lovers, and wanted it to be…for a lack of words, more cheesy. Others liked how it doesn’t feel too “heavy” and how it’s fairly easy to chow down – one even inaccurately guessed that it wasn’t filled entirely with cheese. Well, we didn’t expect the mere crust of a pizza to generate such opposing feedback at our lunch table. Since everyone had such varying opinions, it’s definitely worth trying it out yourself.
Domino’s Pizza will also be launching a new Cheesy Foursome Box that has a variety of sides, including: Garlic Cheese Onion Rings, Cheesy Cheddar Stix, Tom Yam flavoured Crazy Chicken Crunchies, and Stuffed Cheddar Bites.
The Cheddarella Cheesy Crust and Cheesy Foursome Box will be available from 30 Nov onwards. You can upgrade any pizza of your choice with a Cheddarella Cheesy crust if you top up $6 for a regular and $8 for a large.
Available for delivery and in all stores islandwide. You can find out more at Domino’s Pizza SG Facebook page.

adidas Pays Homage To The Original EQT Cushion 91 Model With The EQT Blue Pack
adidas is going back to the basics with the latest release of the (equally hypebeast) EQT Blue Pack, which pays homage to the original EQT Cushion 91 model. The original EQT Cushion 91 model was released way back in the 90s, with the everyday runner in mind.
We like our shoes to mould itself to our feet, so the EQT Blue Pack will see the shoe updated with a Primeknit upper and welded overlays. It goes without saying that the shoes will also come with the webbing tape three stripes and reflective accents. They then finish with a nostalgic grille lace system, which uses a webbed system of loops to hold your laces together that gives additional flexibility to the shoes.
All four different colour ways in the EQT Blue Pack don’t stray far from the classic sportswear colours like white, grey and black, though they are accented with the distinctive EQT blue for a little pop of colour. Unless you want to go all bold, which you can go for the electric blue colourway with white accents.
Here’s a first look at all four designs before they are released on 7 December.
EQT in White
EQT in Black

The adidas EQT Blue Pack retails for $200 each and will be released globally on 7 December.
The EQT Blue Pack will be available at selected stores including adidas Originals Pacific Plaza, Bugis+, ION, Paragon, Limited Edt, Pedder on Scotts, Seek, Trendz, The Social Foot, Tangs, Robinsons, Pacific Sports and AW LAB stores, ZALORA, and online.
What We’d Love To See From The Upcoming JW Anderson x Uniqlo SS18 Collection
London designers have been slaying in their collaborations with high street brands this year, from JW Anderson x Uniqlo AW17‘s line-up of colourful stripes and sensible winter workwear to Erdem x H&M who bestowed us with gardens of ornate florals on silk shirts, pants and suits. By any off-chance you saw the crowds these collaborations drew, you would’ve known they were set for success.
For those of us who weren’t travelling overseas anytime soon, the half of JW Anderson x Uniqlo AW17 collection dedicated to icier weather didn’t jive well with our practical sartorial needs. Unable to buy into all the pieces left us honestly unsatisfied, but our frowns have been turned upside down because JW Anderson and Uniqlo have just announced they’re teaming up again for another line of clothing for SS18.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BcC_csJA8Jo/?hl=en&taken-by=jw_anderson
We literally know nothing about the collection other than it’s happening, so we can only hypothesise what’ll hit stores for our grabs early next year. If Anderson’s eponymous label’s SS18 runway looks are any indication of this upcoming drop’s aesthetic leaning, we can expect to see iterations of Bermuda shorts and printed t-shirts (maybe) for mens, and for womenswear asymmetric skirts and flowy linen.
