There’s something ultra-summery with the new limited edition Rouge Hermès collection, thanks to colourful stripes that remind us of deck chairs and beach parasols. Designed by Pierre Hardy, these colourful refillable lipstick tubes contrast with their signature lacquered band in sunny shades that are meant to convey a seaside vibe — think colour combinations such as a fresh yellow and pastel green, juicy orange and red, or a classic navy and reddish-brown.
And we haven’t yet talked about the shades. As Gregoris Pyrpylis, creative director for Hermès Beauty puts it, the graphic collection debuts three “soft, warm, sun-kissed tones” and a transparent formula with sparkling finishes, carefully chosen to bring out that same summer inspiration.
Corail Parasol, for instance, is a lustrous coral with multi-coloured mother-of-pearl pigments that take after the way the sun sparkles when it hits the sea. Then, there’s Beige Croisette, a natural pink-toned beige that leaves a delicate trace of colour on the lips, followed by a deeper Brun Yachting, a radiant brown with hints of shimmering copper.
Here’s a closer look at the three new shades:
06 Corail Parasol: Like shimmering reflections on the waves, multi-coloured mother-of-pearl brings lustre to this orangey-pink.
10 Beige Croisette: A natural, slightly pink-toned beige that leaves a veil of delicate colour on the lips.
22 Brun Yachting: A luminous brown with coppery glints that embellishes the lips with a radiant glow.
THE COLLECTION IS PRICED AT $132 EACH AND AVAILABLE from 16 february AT HERMÈS LIAT TOWERS, HERMÈS MARINA BAY SANDS, HERMÈS TAKASHIMAYA, TAKASHIMAYA DEPARTMENT STORE, TANGS DEPARTMENT STORE AND ONLINE AT HERMES.COM.
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s still not too late if you haven’t thought of a special gift for your significant other. Enter: Swatch’s Valentine’s Day collection. Swatch has been known for creating unique watches, particularly for the season of love since 1995 so it’s no surprise that they are back with a brand new collection — this time with a recipe-inspired watch, as well as a pair of his-and-hers timepieces.
RECIPE FOR LOVE
Playing on the age-old concept of ‘the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach’, Recipe For Love ($158) is a playful timepiece with watch hands in the shape of a knife and fork, and nine different customisable watch strap loops.
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
The idea is to let you create your own recipe for love using the nine ingredients printed on each watch strap loop. As a finishing touch to this recipe-inspired watch, a red and white chequered tablecloth pattern has been printed on the back of the watch strap to reflect the typical dinner table setting.
If you’ve been looking for a more subtle take on couple’s wear, this pair of New Gent watches might just fit the bill. LOVE TO GO AROUND ($120) features a watch face with the word ‘LOVE’ printed three times and a mirror effect dial set on a blue strap, while PUREST LOVE ($105) comes with the word ‘LOVE’ engraved three times on the red mirrored watch face with a heart replacing ‘o’ at 12 o’clock and watch hands in the shape of cupid’s arrows.
The Swatch Valentine’s Day Collection is available now at all Swatch outlets islandwide as well as online at SWATCH.COM. All images courtesy of Swatch.
Osia Steak and Seafood Grill is one of those restaurants that has such a straightforward name, you know what you’re going to order before you even see the menu. The restaurant prides itself on innovative, Contemporary Australian cuisine, with ingredients personally sourced by celebrity chef, Scott Webster. Osia’s head chef is Danny Fong who joined the restaurant right from the start in 2010, and handcrafts the dishes together with Chef Webster — and from what we reviewed, Chef Fong has excellent taste.
Above: Osia’s Chef de cuisine, Danny Fong
We started with their famous stone hearth Flatbread. It was nicely toasted and very pang. You may be tempted to get a few of these, but don’t do that; just get one order to share so you have space for everything else to come.
Above: macadamia and basil pesto stone hearth Flatbread, ($14)
This is the Poached Lobster Éclair, a delicious combination of salted egg yolk mayonnaise, micro cress, and hearty chunks of lobster meat. It’s a wonderful starter that opens up the appetite. The salted egg mayo complements the lobster beautifully, and sandwiched between the eclair, it’s a surprising combination and very creative. A must try.
Above: Poached Lobster Éclair ($68)
This next plate may not look like much, but it’s one of the best dishes of the night. It’s Kingfish Ceviche marinated in shoyu, topped with salmon caviar and coriander. The shoyu marinating is perfectly done; tangy but not sour. I thought the first starter opened the appetite, but no; this one instantly makes you hungry for more. This dish is part of the seasonal menu that runs until 14 Feb. I would be back to this restaurant just for this dish.
Above: Kingfish Ceviche ($45)
At this point, I realised that Chef Fong really knows what he’s doing; the order in which the dishes come out is well thought through. He paces the diner so we never feel too full and can appreciate the dishes to follow.
Above: Osia’s Chef de cuisine, Danny Fong (right)
Next up is the Polenta Crumb Foie Gras, with an interesting combination of spiced fruits chutney, poached daikon and mirin soya glace. The daikon on its own is slightly buttery and bland, but is good with the sauce, while the polenta crumbs add a nice crunch to the soft foie gras. If you only favour a classic seared foie gras, you may not enjoy this creative interpretation. I liked it though.
Above: Polenta Crumb Foie Gras ($34)
Here we have the Margaret River Angus Beef Ribeye that’s sitting on a bed of mushroom risotto, and hiding under charred leek, smoked tomato, and chorizo jus. The steak is tender and not terribly fatty, which is how a ribeye should be. The chorizo jus wasn’t overly salty and the charred leek breaks up the monotony and jelakness of just eating meat.
Above: Margaret River Angus Beef Ribeye ($78 for 300g)
Finally, Chef Fong saves the best for last and brings out the Hot Chocolate Soup. It’s paired with a sesame wafer and black pepper ice cream. This is certainly a dessert that would please everyone. It’s a more “soupy” take on the traditional lava chocolate cake, and as it arrives at the table, the aroma wafts through the air and your mouth starts to water. I could eat three of these alone. If you don’t order this dessert at the end of the meal, you’re missing out; I would even advise you to pre-order it so you won’t be disappointed.
Above: Hot Chocolate Soup ($25)
It’s been a while since I had a really good meal, and my visit to Osia wasn’t just a good meal, it was exceptional. Almost every food review I’ve written has both hits and misses; Osia was a winner all the way. I would definitely book another visit to the restaurant and order the same dishes I sampled above.

Love is in the air! Now that the CNY festivities have passed, it’s time to start shopping for the perfect gift to surprise your significant other with this Valentine’s Day. Instead of going for traditional options like chocolates and flowers, you might want to opt for a longer-lasting option that they can wear instead. Here’s a look at six jewellery brands and their gift inspirations.
1. LOUIS VUITTON
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
Instead of getting a Louis Vuitton handbag as a gift this year, why not opt for a piece of jewellery? The Blossom Fine Jewellery collection pays homage to enduring beauty and exquisite craftsmanship inspired by the iconic Monogram Flower. Choose from a variety of categories that include necklaces and pendants, earrings and rings which are expertly crafted with precious metals, selected gemstones and dazzling diamonds.
Celebrate the season of love with Goldheart’s A Tale of True Love — a curated range of pieces from some of Goldheart’s most beloved collections such as the Celestial, KStyle, and 916 Gold. Some eye-catching pieces include the Celestial collection’s 73-facet starburst diamond that is unique to Goldheart and the Seoul-inspired KStyle rings and necklaces.
3. PANDORA
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
Those looking to gift themselves something special this Valentine’s Day can find some love with Pandora’s ME collection. Inspired by love in all its forms, the collection features remixed designs that transform traditional romantic motifs into encouragement to embark on a self-love journey.
These pieces include the Pandora ME Two-tone Heart Link Chain Bracelet ($159) with a 14K gold-plated heart-shaped styling connector, and the Pandora ME Styling Marry Me Double Link ($69) which resembles a solitaire engagement ring but acts as a reminder to commit to yourself with the message, ‘Self love’.
Inspired by a world of crystallised imagination, Swarovski’s Mathematical Garden introduces six new original designs that will offer fresh perspectives on how geometry can blend with vibrant flora and fauna. Key pieces include the Florere Ring ($295) which showcases a gorgeous flower with pink gems for petals and the Pop Swan bracelet ($235) which offers a youthful take on the iconic Swarovski Swan inspired by graffiti art.
In addition to the new designs, you can also choose from the existing range of jewellery which has been updated with new cuts, colours and shapes.
5. BRUNA
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
If you are looking for truly unique pieces, you might want to consider BRUNA and their jewellery collection of gold and pearl accessories. Founded on the island of Tahiti, this fine jewellery brand not only handcrafts the accessories but also uses responsibly sourced materials such as recycled metals and rare keshi pearls.
To celebrate the season of love, SK Jewellery has launched an exclusive Princess Cut Diamond Ring ($4,928) and Pendant (from $4,228) to commemorate the special day. In addition to the Valentine’s Day exclusives, you can also browse their V-day exclusive collection which offers a curated range of slightly more affordable diamond bracelets, pendants, rings and earrings.
Here’s something to whip out of your bag next — a lipstick and balm with dick packaging. ISAMAYA BEAUTY launched two penis-shaped lip products over the weekend and they include the Colour Infusion Lipstick in Cardinal Red Satin (a vicious red lipstick housed in chrome), and Water Balm in Vanity Black Shimmer (a sheer black glaze in gunmetal packaging). Check them out:
Above: ISAMAYA BEAUTY Colour Infusion Lipstick in cardinal red satin (US$95).
Above: ISAMAYA BEAUTY Colour Water Balm in Vanity Black Shimmer (US$95).
These products were recently announced on the brand’s Instagram and the followers are divided. Comments range from “I have never purchased a lip product faster in my life.” and “How long is it?”, to “That be a no…”. Love or hate the concept, you gotta admit that the products are cheeky, look well-made and are gorgeous on lips. The formulas for both are vegan and cruelty-free, while the lipstick includes botanical actives and plant-derived oils, and the Water Balm has rice water wax and a pearl infusion to create a wet-like shine.
The beauty brand’s website doesn’t deliver directly to Singapore (at the time of writing), but you can always use a service like vPost, or find it on Selfridges once they stock it.
ISAMAYA BEAUTY Colour Infusion Lipstick and Water Balm is priced at US$95 each and available on the brand’s website at ISAMAYA.COM.
It is only the beginning of February but the fashion collaborations just keep on coming, and this time it is with luxury luggage brand RIMOWA and London-based skateboarding and clothing brand PALACE.
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
With a mutual appreciation for daring designs, these two brands have teamed up to merge the century-old heritage of German engineering with modern fashion and streetwear to create a limited-edition suitcase, skateboard deck, and sticker set that will launch on 10 February 2023.
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
The PALACE RIMOWA Original Cabin Desert suitcase features a vibrant artwork of a dystopia desert landscape against the backdrop of RIMOWA’s iconic aluminium. Designed by PALACE artists in a hand-airbrushed aesthetic, the self-interpretative artwork showcases a nomadic figure walking towards a chrome monolith that appears to be watched over by a sand sculpture of a woman.
The detailed inscription of the artwork is a result of a team effort with RIMOWA and their mastery of digital printing for the seamless gradient and vibrant colour pigments. In addition to the exterior design, you will also find an ‘infinity’ artwork on the interior which represents both brands’ shared value of creating quality and long-lasting products. Made in Cologne, this suitcase is truly a limited-edition piece with only 500 pieces available globally.
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
Skateboarding enthusiasts can celebrate the spirit of mobility with the PALACE RIMOWA Deck which features a rendition of the same ‘infinity’ artwork from the suitcase as well as the names of the two brands imprinted all over on one side while the other side features RIMOWA and PALACE’s iconic logos inscribed on each end. The deck is measured at 21.59 centimetres in width and is made of 7-ply Canadian Maple wood grown by the Regrowth Programme.
Those looking to get something small from the collection can opt for the PALACE RIMOWA Sticker Set which contains the iconic PALACE logos with a RIMOWA twist — perfect for personalising your luggage!
The PALACE RIMOWA Original Cabin Desert Suitcase, Deck and Sticker Set will be available from 10 February 2023 at RIMOWA and PALACE Flagship stores worldwide as well as online at RIMOWA.COM and PALACESKATEBOARDS.COM.

When most of us think about buying a watch, we tend to consider the functionality before making the purchase. But more often than not, we find ourselves making the decision based on the aesthetics of the timepiece instead because, in addition to its basic functions, we do want them to look good with our outfits.
CHANEL’s latest exclusive timepiece collection pushes the boundary of a stylish functional watch with a little design inspiration from Gabrielle Chanel herself, and the indispensable pincushion she wears on her wrist.
Be it organised or disorganised, the pinheads tend to create a decorative effect that evolves with the progress of the seamstress’s work, and this is how the spirit of the tool has been adopted to create the five different timepiece in the collection — a lacework of camellias, a composition of iconic bags, jewels strewn on black tweed, a diamond embroidery, and a jacket at the pattern stage.
Featuring a lace design of camellias, the Mademoiselle Privé Pique-Aiguilles Lace Motif Watch is created through a combination of three Métiers d’art.
The first is the technique of hand engraving to give texture to the yellow gold surface of the dial, followed by coverage with a layer of translucent “Grand Feu” enamel to accentuate and highlight the delicacy of the engraving and endow it with infinite depth. The final is the traditional decal technique that the Creation studio has used to draw the motif. After, the whole surface of the timepiece is strewn with tiny gold beads and five diamonds.
Five iconic CHANEL bags are engraved and modelled in black mother-of-pearl to recreate the effect of quilted leather for the Mademoiselle Privé Pique-Aiguilles Quilted Motif Watch. Each engraved yellow gold chain is adorned with diamond charms while each clasp is embellished with a baguette-cut diamond.
The Mademoiselle Privé Pique-Aiguilles Pearls Motif watch features a ‘jewels strewn over a black tweed’ effect and reflects long necklaces, braided chains, and Byzantine brooches. All of the components are sculpted in yellow gold, lacquered by hand or set, before it is delicately arranged on a base plate featuring a black tweed effect in relief, and trimmed with a row of lined diamonds and gold pearls.
Imagined by CHANEL’s Watchmaking Creation Studio, the Mademoiselle Privé Pique-Aiguilles Embroidery Motif Watch interprets the elegance of black fabric embroidered with sequins using diamonds. In a convex disc of black-coated white gold, the entire surface of the watch is snow-set with diamonds and trimmed with a delicate row of tiny gold beads that have been individually set by hand.
Inspired by the iconic pattern of CHANEL’s tweed jacket, the Mademoiselle Privé Pique-Aiguilles Tweed Motif Watch features a similar pattern trimmed with 92 diamonds. Thimble, scissors, and a tape measure, which are typical tools for a seamstress, have also been meticulously created in sculpted gold to bring a scene from a couture atelier to life. As an ode to the CHANEL jacket, the watch dial is delicately trimmed with a chain just like the one sewn inside every jacket to ensure it hangs perfectly.
CHANEL Mademoiselle Privé Pique-Aiguilles Watch is limited to 20 pieces per design worldwide and will be sold exclusively at CHANEL boutiques.
Pricing and availability will be announced at a later time. To keep updated, click HERE. All images courtesy of CHANEL/CHANEL HIGH-END WATCHES.

Whenever we get a new phone, it’s almost a must-do to get a cover for protection. Knowing just how much we love our phone cases, Samsung has collaborated with popular global tech accessory brand CASETiFY to release an exclusive collection just for the all-new Galaxy S23 series.
Inspired by the Samsung Galaxy S23, the collection consists of three Samsung Singapore-exclusive prints that showcase all the finest things in the S23 and will be available for the CASETiFY Ultra Impact Case with EcoShock from USD $70 (approx. SGD $91) and CASETiFY Impact Case with EcoShock from USD $60 (approx. SGD $78) starting 1 February 2023, followed by the first CASETiFY Clear Case (price TBA) option for Samsung users in March.
Both impact cases feature an anti-slip grip and a 1.6mm raised bezel for enhanced screen protection as well as layers of the new proprietary and patent-pending material EcoShock. At a molecular level, the plant-based EcoShock is able to turn the kinetic energy of an impact into heat, while its twister pattern dissipates it across the surface of the Ultra Impact case.
The CASETiFY Ultra Impact Case has also been tested to withstand more than 130 drops of up to 11.5ft and has 5x the normal Military Grade Standard while the CASETiFY Impact Case has been tested 104 times on drops of 8.2ft and comes with 4x the Military Grade Standard.
Those seeking to preserve the original look and feel of the S23 series can opt for the Clear Case which comes equipped with CASETiFY’s proprietary UV Defender technology. Tested to withstand drops of up to 6.6ft with 1x the Military Grade Standard, the Clear Case has also been optimised to prevent yellowing (from the harsh Singapore sun) and provide long lasting clarity.
All three designs are also fully customisable allowing you to add your name to make your new S23 more unique. In addition to the exclusive collection, you will also be able to find up to 2,000+ designs from CASETiFY’s catalog to fit your brand new Galaxy S23.
CASETiFY’s Samsung-exclusive prints will be available for Ultra Impact and Impact cases with EcoShock from 1 February 2023 and for Clear Case from 1 March 2023.

Remember the nineties when Tamagotchi was all the rage? For some of us, it was our first attempt at showing our parents how responsible we were when it came to owning a pet, but for others, it was the hippest accessory to have and you definitely did not want to be the only one who was Tamagotchi-less.
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
For those who may not be familiar with these popular nineties toy, Tamagotchi is an egg-shaped device that housed an interactive digital pet that you needed to feed, play and care for, just like a physical pet.
In addition to the toy making a comeback (with big name collaborations like Star Wars, BTS’ TinyTan, and Demon Slayer), it is now ready to make waves in the fashion industry through an &Co.LLABORATION between MAX&Co. and Bandai Namco Europe S.A.S.
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
The capsule collection, aptly titled Tamagotchi in Paris, combines the nostalgia of the nineties with typical French style and will feature playful figures and pixelated graphics on tees and berets.
Characters and motifs, including hearts and Tamagotchi itself, will either be beaded and embroidered across the collection bringing a bit of nostalgic fun to tailored cotton shirts and indigo denim jeans. The use of supersized graphics is also included and can be found on intarsia knits or embossed on leather mini-bags.
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
Stripes are a recurring theme of the capsule and would typically be found on t-shirts and hoodies either in monochrome black and white or bright hues like poppy pink and red. The collection also pays homage to the simple instructions for looking after a Tamagotchi with the phrase ‘Eat sleep repeat’ which can be found emblazoned on the back of tees, on front of slouchy sweaters, and on jacquard collars.
Here’s a closer look at the Tamagotchi in Paris capsule collection.

It’s that time of the year when tech companies start to roll out their all-new smartphones and setting the bar high at just the second month of the new year is Korean tech giant Samsung with their freshly unveiled Galaxy S23 series.
The series marks a new era of Samsung Galaxy’s ultimate premium phone experience and aims to push the boundaries of what your smartphone can offer you. Not only have the cameras been upgraded to give you cinematic Nightography videos with transformative AI, but the Galaxy’s mobile platform has also been updated to bring you a better premium experience that includes groundbreaking AI, future-ready mobile gaming features, and a powerful sustained game play with the world’s fastest mobile graphics.
Here’s a closer look at the key features of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
MOST ADVANCED CAMERA SYSTEM YET
Since the invention of the smartphone, we have all become budding photographers in some way. With the Galaxy S23 series, you will be given the ultimate creative control and customisation with their suite of tools which includes the exclusive Samsung Galaxy only Expert RAW app, which enables DSLR-style image shooting and editing in RAW and JPEG, and the advanced, object-based AI which analyses each detail in the frame including minute facial features such as hair and eyes to carefully reflect a person’s dynamic characteristics.
Those seeking the high level Galaxy S23 Ultra can now enjoy their most advanced camera system yet with its new 200MP Adaptive Pixel sensor that uses pixel binning to support multiple levels of high-resolution processing at once so that you can capture special moments with incredible precision.
Tailored for almost any lighting conditions and engineered to render great detail, the Galaxy S23 Ultra also features a doubled optical image stabiliser (OIS) for stable, clear videos, which will come in handy when you find yourself taking videos in a situation with low-light or just plain terrible lighting.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 series also introduces an upgrade to its selfie cameras with fast autofocus and the first-ever Super HDR selfie camera which jumps from 30fps to 60fps so that you can get better, sharper front-facing images and videos. All models of the Galaxy S23 series will get an upgraded look with the typical contour housing removed from the rear where the cameras are housed. This will begin a new era of Galaxy design that is focused on making key features of the smartphone stand out.
IMPROVED USER EXPERIENCE
Whether you’re just browsing the internet or gaming like a professional, the Galaxy S23 series promises to provide the most efficient experience with the brand-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy and optimised GPU, which is now about 41% faster compared to the Galaxy S22 series.
The newly designed CPU micro architecture boosts the processing abilities of the Galaxy S23 series by about 30% compared to its predecessor while the NPU architecture has been optimised by 49% to balance performance and power while using an AI algorithm to help with photo and video taking. A bigger vapor cooling chamber has also been added to the Galaxy S23 models to cope better with prolonged mobile gaming or usage.
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.]
.
Those planning to get the Galaxy S23 Ultra will get to experience real-time ray tracing where you will be able to noticeably see more lifelike renderings of scenes thanks to the in-built technology that simulates and tracks every ray of light.
The 6.8-inch edge display of the Galaxy S23 Ultra has been refreshed with a reduced curvature to create a larger and flatter surface area so you can get the best visual experience while browsing or binge-watching a series. Paired with Samsung Galaxy’s unique Enhanced comfort feature, you will be able to adjust colour tones and contrast levels so that you can continue to use your phone (especially at night) with lesser eye strain.
ECO-CONSCIOUS DESIGN
The Galaxy S23 series takes the opportunity to get eco-friendly with more components made using a wide variety of recycled materials than any other Galaxy smartphones, and is UL ECOLOGO certified as a product that has reduced environmental impact. Since the launch of the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung has increased the use of recycled materials in their Galaxy smartphones from the initial six internal components used in the Galaxy S22 Ultra to 12 internal components in the new Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Despite the eco-friendly design, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series does not compromise on quality and is the first range to feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 which offers durability for long-term use, and is made with an average of 22% pre-consumer recycled content. Plus, every Galaxy S23 smartphone will come in a redesigned packaging box which is made with 100% recycled paper. So, in addition to enjoying a brand new smartphone, you will also be doing your part for the environment!

The MacBook Pro has always been an incredible laptop for professionals and individuals who are willing to pay top dollar for the power and performance this machine can deliver. Last month, Apple announced a new generation of MacBook Pros fitted with the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, which are blazingly fast and now the industry standard. And they don’t just make a faster computer, they make them more efficient too, which means the batteries last longer and everything works smoother. Here’s a first look at the new MacBook Pro in the 14″ model.
Above: The 2023 macbook pro has the same dimensions and weight as the 2021 version, and is available in space grey and silver (featured here). We do like that the design hasn’t changed from the previous version, especially since the 2021 model went through a design overhaul, and has the nice squarish corners that lend an industrial feel to the overall aesthetic.
Above: while the exterior looks identical to the previous version, the internals have been upgraded and the 2023 model is configured with the m2 Pro or m2 Max chip.
Above: Just like its predecessor, the underside features apple’s signature embossing and the four rubber pads.
Above: the ports on one side include the magsafe 3 charging port, two thunderbolt 4 ports and a headphone jack.
Above: Ports on the other side include an sd memory card slot, one more thunderbolt 4, and hdmi.
Above: the screen is still incredibly stunning with a liquid retina xdr display, while the magic keyboard includes a useful inbuilt touch id.
Above: there’s a six-speaker sound system that includes four force-cancelling woofers and apple’s spatial audio function.
Above: the more efficient system now offers 18 hours of video playback and 12 hours of wireless web browsing on the 14″ model. The bigger 16″ model goes up to 22 hours of video playback and 15 hours of wireless web browsing!
Above: in the box, there’s the USB-C power adapter and a 2 metres usb-c to magsafe 3 cable.
Here are the starting prices of each configuration:
It’s worth considering an upgrade from a past generation model, or even the MacBook Air if you’re a photographer or designer, and especially if you work in gaming or 3D / film animation. You’re getting a faster and more powerful processor, a more capable graphics card, and of course more memory and hard disk space if you pay for it. There are also other upgrades like Wi-Fi 6E that will be handy when Singapore catches up to the technology. Ultimately, this machine is really for pro users — those that need power and speed in their work processes, and who understand that paying for the efficiency makes a lot of sense when your gadget helps you become more productive.
The 2023 macbook pro is available for order online at APPLE.COM with prices starting from $2,899.
We’re no strangers to the countless collaborations between high-end designers and popular streetwear brands, and if you’re one of those who has been waiting for the deets on the latest team up between luxury jeweller Tiffany & Co. and Nike, look no further.
Making its debut come 7 March 2023, the Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 1837 will not only mark the celebration of the two brands’ first-ever collaboration but also be a commemoration of the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary.
The exclusive pair of sneakers will be available for American customers at two Tiffany & Co. New York City locations and select Nike partner retail stores in North America, but not to fret for us global customers as you will still be able to purchase them via Nike’s SNKRS app (or the SNKRS website in Singapore).
[CLICK ON THE IMAGES BELOW TO EXPAND.] .
Unlike the typical colour tones of the Nike Air Force 1, the Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 1837 is priced at USD $400 (approx. SGD $525) and crafted in premium black suede featuring a Tiffany Blue®Swoosh with co-branded silver details above each heel — a true must-have for any sneakerhead.
In addition to the launch of the exclusive sneakers, Tiffany & Co. will also release a collection of inspired, limited-edition sterling silver products from USD $250 to $475 (approx. SGD $328 to $623) which will be made available on Tiffany.com in the United States.
The co-branded designs include a sterling silver whistle, shoe horn, shoe brush, and dubrae for the Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 1837 laces. Even though there may not be any word on whether the collection will be made available globally, there’s no harm in preparing for its potential drop here in Singapore!
The Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 1837 is set to release on 7 March 2023 through the Nike SNKRS app globally.

Even though the time for sprucing up the home has come and gone, there’s no harm in refreshing the interior to give your living space a brand new look after the festivities. Designed in collaboration with Netherlands-based designer Sabine Marcelis, IKEA presents their all-new VARMBLIXT collection which aims to elevate sensory experiences within the home in a simple yet sophisticated way.
Set to launch in IKEA stores and online from 2 February 2023, the collection is inspired by how different elements of shape, natural light and colour can interact to create a warm, comfortable and positive living space that invites us to explore the transformative possibilities light can have on our overall emotional wellbeing.
The collection features 18 products that include sculptural lighting products that reflect warm, cosy light and stylish home accessories that explore the beauty of light in varied ways like how natural light interacts with glass or how the warm hues of sunset can be reinterpreted in wool. Here’s a closer look at some of the key products you can find in the collection.
If you’re looking to spruce up the home with new interior decorations and textiles in unique, quirky styles, you could consider options from the collection of expressive printed animal and geometric cushion covers (from $6.90), sparkling mother-of-pearl coloured decorative pieces (from $39.90), and new seating additions to the living room like the OSKARSHAMN Wing Chair ($399).
