Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami celebrate 20th anniversary of collaboration with launch of updated original collection

It has been 20 years since Louis Vuitton and famed Japanese artist Takashi Murakami first came together for an era-defining collaboration. To celebrate their 20 years of partnership, the House and Takashi will be launching a joyful and celebratory collection that reimagines and updates the designs from the original collection.

Louis Vuitton x Murakami will feature more than 170 creations, each shaped by advances in technology and paired with the House’s culture of craftsmanship and savoir-faire.

The collection will kick off with Chapter One and the launch of the Monogram Multicolore that showcases interlocking LV and floral motifs in 33 different colours across the House’s many emblematic City Bags such as the Keepall, the Coussin, the Dauphine, the OnTheGo, and the Speedy.

There’s also the whimsical Superflat Panda character to look out for on various accessories, travel bags, and a skateboard; alongside the Superflat Garden that will grace the Attrape-Reves and Imagination fragrance bottles.

The Louis Vuitton x Murakami Chapter One collection will be available at Louis Vuitton Singapore boutiques from 3 January.
