Staying true to its design principles, Leica brings a fresh take on minimalism, welcoming a new collective of Leica lovers with the launch of the new ZM 12 watch collection.

Building on the foundation of the ZM 11, the ZM 12 ($9,740) introduces a thoughtful evolution of the dual-layered dial and strikes the perfect balance between form and function. One of the notable differences between the ZM 11 and the ZM 12 collections is the smaller 39mm case, which has been crafted with stainless steel or titanium (depending on the model).

The watches feature classic timekeeping functions with a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock that adds symmetry to the overall aesthetic, alongside a dual-layered dial which comes to life though an interplay of light and shadow, creating depth to captivate from various angles in an exploration of colour.
This, is in addition to the Swiss Grade A Super-LumiNova that illuminates the indices and hands so that you can still be able to read the time even in challenging lighting conditions.
On top of its design, the ZM 12 impresses with timekeeping accuracy of -4/+6 seconds per day with a remarkable power reserve of approximately 60 hours and movement that operates at a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour and is measured in five positions to ensure the highest precision at all times.
The Leica ZM 12 collection features four models — ZM 12 Steel Blue Orange, ZM 12 Steel Silver Grey, ZM 12 Steel Olive black, and ZM 12 Titanium Chocolate Black — each with its own distinct style and character, and interchangeable straps to express your individual style.
Each of these straps have been meticulously handcrafted in Leica’s artisanal workshop and uses a premium technical textile to offer strength and longevity, and high-quality rubber to offer durability and comfort.
