This 360 drone is unlike traditional quadcopters and relies on a headset-first configuration where the Vision Goggles are a vital component of the experience. Powered by industry-leading Pancake optics and dual 1-inch Micro-OLED (2560×2560) displays, the goggles mirror your head movements in real-time.
The system is designed to be intuitive too, from the first takeoff with the Grip controller’s FreeMotion Mode that translates hand movements into precise flight paths so that you can steer easily by pointing the controller. With this feature, the A1 is significantly easier to master than traditional dual-stick drones and removes the steep learning curve for new pilots.
You can get ultimate control over your flight too, with the new Sky Path system. This allows you to design, save, and automate complex flight routes so that the A1 can fly itself. Other intelligent tools available include the Sky Genie for 360 manoeuvres, Deep Track for locking onto your target and keeping them centred with superior accuracy, and Virtual Cockpit which turns a standard flight into a mythical journey.
At the heart of the A1 drone is the dual-lens 1/1.28-inch sensor system that has the ability to record in 8K30fps, 5.2K60fps, or 4K100fps in full 360 degree.
Every flight will be able to capture the entire environment in one pass without gimbal adjustments or missed angles, and allows you to choose perspectives in post-production, from cinematic pans to creative effects or deep subject tracking. The FlowState Stabilization also ensures that your footage remains smooth and steady, even in windy conditions.
Weighing just 249g with a standard included battery, the A1 fits right in the palm of your hand and complies with EU C0 class and similar sub-250g regulations worldwide.
It also offers up to 24 minutes of flight time or up to an extended 39 minutes of flight time via an optional high-capacity battery. Built with a retractable landing gear system, the A1 is able to protect the bottom lens during takeoff while maintaining an unobstructed view for invisible-drone shots.
To keep the A1 safe for use, the drone comes with a payload detection system which actively detects excess weight or unsafe modifications to prevent the drone from being used for purposes it was not designed for — a first for consumer drones in this class.
A1 integrates seamlessly with the Antigravity app and Antigravity Studio desktop software too, allowing you to do quick transfers, automatic reframing, colour correction, and auto editing.
