From managing plans and finding information to capturing and refining content, the Galaxy S26 Series was engineered with Samsung’s most advanced capabilities so that you can depend on your phone throughout the day without compromising security or privacy.

On this front, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has been built with a new Privacy Display, that reinforces Samsung’s commitment to privacy at a pixel level. The Galaxy S26 Ultra has also been refreshed in a slimmer build, together with a customised chipset and upgraded thermal management to enable faster and more powerful AI in the slimmest Ultra yet.

Powerful All-Day Performance

Built on the most powerful hardware ever on a Galaxy S Series, the Galaxy S26 Series is powered by a customised mobile processor, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, to deliver the best performance ever in its class with significant gains across CPU, GPU, and NPU to support faster, smoother experiences all-day.

To sustain this level of performance, the Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces a redesigned Vapour Chamber with thermal interface material positioned along the sides of the processor, which allows heat to spread more efficiently across a larger surface area.

This essentially improves heat dissipation to keep your device cool and consistent especially when you’re engaged in gaming, multitasking or video capture on the phone. The Galaxy S26 Ultra also supports Super-Fast Charging 3.0, delivering up to 75% charge in just 30 minutes!

Embedded into the custom processor are Samsung’s proprietary technologies to help enhance visual performance such as the ProScaler, which improves image scaling in photos and videos by sharpening text and fine details while smoothing textures, and the mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNIe), to deliver more subtle and lifelike colours through image processing with four times the precision when compared with the previous generation.

Industry-Leading Camera System

With the same focus on intuitive interaction to creativity and productivity, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series delivers a great photography experience through its best Galaxy camera system ever.

Both the Galaxy S26 and S26+ are built with 50MP wide camera, 12MP Ultra Wide Camera and 10MP Telephoto Camera, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra comes with a 200MP Wide Camera, 50MP Ultra Wide Camera and a 50MP/10MP Telephoto Camera.

On the Galaxy S26 Ultra, you’ll find wider camera apertures that allow more light to reach the sensor to deliver clearer photos with richer details in low-light conditions, even when zoomed in. You will also get Enhanced Nightography Video to keep footage clearer and more vibrant even in dim scenes like a concert, and upgraded Super Steady, that adds a horizontal lock option for great stability to make consistent framing easier to achieve.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is also the first Galaxy device to support APV, a new professional video standard and codec that is designed to deliver efficient compression for high-quality production workflows that keeps video quality true after repeated editing.

Across the Galaxy S26 Series, you’ll find AI-powered tools built into familiar workflows so that you can edit photos and videos easily.

These tools include the upgraded Photo Assist which allows you to describe the change you want in your own words, and add to images to restore missing parts of a photo or even change outfits in photos; as well as Creative Studio, where you can quickly turn your ideas into polished visuals through a sketch, photo or prompt.

Visual tasks have been made simpler too in AI-powered tools like the Document Scan, which removes distortions and distractions like creases or fingers to deliver clean scans instantly.

Most intuitive Galaxy AI experience yet

Galaxy AI reduces the steps between intent and action in the new Galaxy S26 Series through a more proactive and seamless role, by surfacing the right support at the right moment and automating tasks with minimal manual input.

Now Nudge helps to provide timely and relevant suggestions without distracting you from your tasks, while Now Brief becomes more proactive and personalised by surfacing timely reminder for important events based on personal context.

Circle to Search with Google has been upgraded with enhanced multi-object recognition so that you can explore more deeply on multiple parts of an image at once, and an upgraded Bixby has been made more intuitive so that you can navigate your devices and adjust setting using natural language and not exact terminology or commands.

The Galaxy S26 Series also integrates a choice of agents alongside Bixby, that includes Gemini and Perplexity, to help you get tasks completed with a single button press or voice prompt.

Layers of Protection for the device

In the age of scams, protecting your privacy while you use your device is a priority. Understanding this, Samsung has built protection into every layer of the Galaxy S26 to keep your personal data secure while giving you transparency and control over how your information is used.

As a first for the Samsung S26 Ultra, the device now comes with a built-in Privacy Display that preserves full viewing quality from all directions when off, and limits visibility for others from side viewing angles when activated.

You can customise when it turns on and adjust the privacy levels depending on the situation. Partial Screen Privacy intelligently limits visibility for notification pop-ups while the Maximum Privacy Protection further obscures side views for added discretion with minimal impact on power or usability.

The Galaxy S26 Series brings smarter software safeguards too such as the AI-powered Call Screening which identifies unknown callers and summarises their intent so that you can safely manage your calls; and Privacy Alerts, which proactively notifies you in real time when apps with device admin privileges are attempting to access sensitive data like precise location, call logs or contacts.
