UNIQLO teams up with Asian Civilisations Museum for first-ever museum pop-up

As part of its global vision to make art accessible for all, UNIQLO has teamed up with Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) to present its first-ever pop-up as part of ACM’s upcoming festival Crossing Cultures.

Located in the lobby of the museum, this almost two-month long display will feature a curated line-up of Graphic T-shirts from the UT universe, alongside the all-new local UNIQLO x ACM UTme! Collection.

Launching 10 April, the UNIQLO x ACM UTme! Collection taps on ACM’s representation of art and history of Asia, through the lens of Singapore as a cosmopolitan port city, shaped by centuries of trade and cultural exchange, and seeks to reflect the crosscurrents that have connected communities across Asia and beyond.

Designed by local artists Knuckles & Notch, Gabriel De Souza, SONG, HAFI, and Nikkei, each design has been inspired by the objects in the galleries and reimagined into wearable art through the artists’ unique visual styles that range from the quirky and whimsical, to bold graphics.

Beyond the new collection, you can also expect to see a variety of UT collections which include NY POP ART (featuring iconic prints from art-world icons like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquait), collaboration designs from Tate Modern, Ukiyo-e Blue prints, and PEACE FOR ALL.

The UNIQLO x ACM UTme! Collection launches 10 April at UNIQLO’s UTme! Stores at the Orchard Central Global Flagship Store, UNIQLO ION, UNIQLO VivoCity, and UNIQLO Jewel Changi Airport.
