Air France launches new La Première suite for an ultra-luxurious First Class experience

If you’re in the market to pamper yourself on your next long-haul flight, you’ll want to keep an eye out for Air France’s new La Première offering.

Developed over three years, the La Première suite features a seat and a chaise lounge that transform into a full lie-flat bed measuring 2m long and 75cm wide. A floor-to-ceiling curtain can be drawn across, offering the passenger almost 3.5 square meters of private space.

Side suites will get to enjoy the view out of five windows, and adjacent suites in the centre of the cabin will offer a shared space for travellers flying together thanks to the electric, full-height partition that slides out of the way.

There will be plenty of storage space in the suite as well, with a large sliding drawer on floor-level offering space for two carry-on suitcases. Footwear can be stored in a second drawer near the chaise lounge while there will be an individual wardrobe and a compartment near the seat for personal belongings.

Travellers who enjoy their movie time on flights will appreciate the two 32-inch 4K screens that allow content consumption regardless of whether one sits on the main seat or the chaise lounge. Free Wi-Fi is, of course, available throughout the journey and Air France plans to replace that with a new high-speed connectivity service soon.

This exclusive First Class suite will be hard to snag since each aircraft only has four suites in a 1-2-1 configuration. The first Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to feature the La Première suites is set to ply the CDG-JFK route starting from Spring 2025. Other selected routes from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport to new destinations such as Singapore, Los Angeles, Tokyo (Haneda) and more will be progressively introduced over the 2025 summer season.
