Just when we thought that Apple AirTag is only for personal use, Lufthansa Group airlines is extending the use of the smart device as a new service for its passengers with immediate effect.
Together with SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings, Lufthansa has integrated the Apple AirTag location feature into their baggage tracing process.
This means that you can now use the new function to privately and securely share the location of the AirTag or the Find My network accessory through the familiar digital channels of the baggage tracing service.
The new service is part of the ‘Digital Hangar’ which offers customers new digital services, transparent information and support along their entire journey; giving passengers the ability to find solutions quickly and easily when faced with issues while flying.
