You’re invited to join Bugis Town’s (Bugis Junction, Bugis+ and Bugis Street) fifth edition of its annual campaign, Bugis Night Lights, for an exciting calendar of events, which includes the Singapore Night Festival, alongside exclusive rewards you can earn while you shop at the participating malls.

Happening from 21 August to 4 October 2026, Bugis Night Lights will feature experiences around the themes of mystery, discovery and exploration such as A Study in Red: The Official Sherlock Experience by HIDDEN, which allows you to play detective, as well as a series of interactive, exploration-led activations that include Find the Hidden Dazzle by Judydoll and Funny Ugly Frenzy by Action City.

A Study in Red: The Official Sherlock Experience (from 21 Aug)

Ever wanted to play detective? Presented by HIDDEN, A Study in Red: The Official Sherlock Experience is a location-based mystery experience that is set across Bugis Junction, Bugis+ and Bugis Street.
Exclusively licensed by the Conan Doyle Estate, this is the world’s first officially licensed Sherlock Holmes experience playable in the real world.
You’ll begin your first day at 221B Consultants, a fictional detective agency inspired by Sherlock Holmes’ famous Baker Street address. Together, in teams of up to five, you’ll follow a trail of clues across Bugis Town.

Along the way, you will be tasked to investigate crime scenes, uncover hidden evidence enhanced by augmented reality, explore immersive 360-degree virtual environments, and piece together clues from characters within the Sherlock Holmes universe.
In essence, A Study in Red combines Sherlock canon with the lesser-known history of Bugis, creating an experiential narrative that is at once both familiar and new. And the way the game is presented is artful. A balanced mix of physical and digital touch points, interactions with digital and even real-life NPCs, all played out amidst the crowds of shoppers on the real streets of Bugis Town.

Singapore Night Festival (21 Aug to 5 Sept)

As part of Singapore Night Festival, Bugis Street Art Lane is transformed into the Stormy Straits (by Melting Po(r)t Collective which is made up of Matlr Creative, LiteWerkz, StrawberryWasabi) where you can become seafarers who embark on a sensory voyage of Singapore’s seafaring era.
Rising above Bugis Street Art Lane, you’ll see scaffolding structures that billow into luminous storm clouds that come alive with the moving shadows of the monsoon squalls that were once braved by the Bugis seafarers.
As you sail through the tempest, you can seek refuge at the glowing lighthouses where you will be able to uncover tales whispered across the straits for generations.
Manifesting in Full Bloom Workshop by Bloom & Boom and Lulucrystalsx (9 Sept)

Get transported into a world where flowers meet crystals in this immersive workshop which brings the artistry of bouquet arrangement together with the mindful craft of making a crystal accessory.
Hosted by Bloom & Boom and Lulucrystalsx, you will get to arrange a floral masterpiece of your own and pair it with either a crystal bracelet or keychain that embodies your chosen intention.

There’s a total of three themed sets that centres around success, love and wisdom which you can choose from. They are: The Seeker (for wisdom, calm & intuition), The Lover (for love, new beginnings & inner calm), and The Achiever (for abundance, success & clarity).
